58mm 99A F4 Conical Fulls & 5 sheets of Holy Sheet griptape.
Where did you find the wheels? I haven’t been looking for a new set just yet but that f4 thread makes me think I should

Like nuts and a squirrel.
Stockpiling F4s.
Hoping the rumors aren't true.
Either way I'm set for a few years.

[close]

Hol up, what rumors?

there was a factory change or something for F4's and the production was temporarily fucked up, but a few people kind freaked out and thought F4's were done forever. i'm pretty sure this is the rumor being referred to here.

Yeah, what rumors?

A shortage in F4's due to factory changes confirmed by Jim T in an instagram DM.

Hopefully temporary but who knows.

At my local. https://thedayoff.fi/

No one skates 58s so these were one of the few sets of F4s they had left. I usually skate 54s. I plan on setting them up once summer is here on a shaped deck for some extra good slappy times and rough spots.

I've been skating some Etnies Marana Michelins for the last month. Boy, once you break them in they are amazing. Super durable too, I think I found my new favorite cupsoles. I'm Going to try the Joslin Michelins next.

Picked up some 52mm Spitfire Radial Slims for one deck and 52mm Spitfire Tablets for my other one. Been wanting to try these two wheels for a while now, getting bored of the classics lol.

Just copped some white leather Supra Elevates. One of the best shoes I've ever skated thus far. Took about 4 hours total of skating to completely break in. The leather skates and grips just like suede. 10/10 would recommend

Picked this up recently as well as some of that Jessup Ultragrip to grip it with. I figured since folks are comparing it to Black Magic might as well give it a try. I used to skate Black Magic exclusively back in the day, and when I got back into it, I was bummed that they were pretty much gone.

Thanks

Was debating heavily about setting it up or saving it for the wall, but ended up setting it up. Never got a chance to extensively skate a Twin Tail before so figured might as well.

Ooh, didn't know that's a twin tail. Seems to be a slick too. That's really nice! 👍

I've been skating the 8.5" twin tail recently and really like it. The 8.3" feels a tad bit too small for me personally but if those dimensions suit you I think you might end up really liking it.

This is also my first slick, and I ain't good at slides already as it is, so this going to be interesting.

Coming from the Palace I was skating it's definitely shorter, and finding the manny point is a little bit harder for me. The smaller wheel base feels nice, and since I mainly do shove's, it nice not having to worry about if I'm using the tail or nose anymore.

Fang I am super jealous. I was looking really hard for that Palace deck locally and couldn't find it. Didn't want to order it online because I like being able to inspect the deck before I pick it up.

I (impulse) bought it on my recent New Zealand trip. To be honest, it's  wider than I usually ride (I like 8 - 8.125)... so I imagine I'll have to buy wider trucks (my nightmare). Have pondered selling on eBay to avoid buying new trucks, lol.

Decided to spontaneously order a Sony TRV900 last night. It's not the illustrious VX1 but I'm really excited to have something of my own to go out with.

To return or not. Don’t love the tongue. Feel narrow and not much cushion up front. Rather the campus adv or something .. “but they were cheap”

I'm skating the white leather right now and I will agree about being narrow. I feel like i'm wearing ollie holes on each side faster than normal due to the tighter fit.

Shake Junt triple OG. I'm putting a second setup. Everything different from what I usually skate. Different board size, truck brand, bearing brand and F4 101 instead of 99.
Now I just need to decide if I'm going. For 8.375 or 8.25
