Scooped up a pair of Thunder 147 Team Standard and Team Hollow for $43, basically new and it came with a Bones Medium bushing included. Sold 4 pairs of trucks in the past week but these were too pretty to pass up, the Team Hollow especially with the yellow and black color combination.

SC get's a lot of hate but I like the wood.

8.375 x 31.83 x 14.25WB x 6.48T x 6.9N

Pretty fucking tapered for an 8.3, has the B16/GO16 vibes for sure, short and fat. Kicks are steep and concave is medium deep feeling.

It's also really light feeling. No special anything/gimmicks but it feels thin and is lighter than anything on hand (even the Primitive 8.3 and their boards are the lightest of them all)..yeah I used a scale...all my other 8.3s are around 1350g-1400g+ this one is around 1200 (all with grip).

Throwing on some Ti144s...jury is out on wheels choice until the Indys show up.

Tail

It looks waay pointier in the pic for some reason - but it is pointy, something I don't usually go for but my logic is I can ride a fatty and not have it be heavy and full and clunky with a full/square tip.

Also, it's visually (and feels) thinner than any deck I've on hand, even other dwindle board. It's also stiff af.

Pointy is the way. That top shot looks really nice.

Pointy boards do feel smaller. I’m sure it’s with how it tapers and stuff. It will flip easier. I think Ben Degros has a video on the difference between square and pointy.

Sorry, but how the fuck can people skate pointy noses and tails?? Tails with a slight taper aren't bad in my opinion. (Primitive and Polar have nice tail/nose combo in my opinion)

I feel like I get the worst flick on them, there's no room to put my foot when actually grinding/sliding, and they just look awkward to me. That said, FA and WKND are the opposite extreme that seem great but are way too stubby/blunt haha however I'm scared I might like an FA if i try one lol
