mid lockdown after not skating for a while i decided to size up a bit to 8.625/56mm wheels, after getting back into skating regularly i realized that was a mistake and sized down to 8.375. was skating some Wayward 56mm wheels which were alright but i had a quick blast of my friends board with STF's and got tempted by something a bit slidier, so went for a set of SPFs.

Was hunting for this one for a while. My local 2nd hand market is small and this similar board was traded a few months ago. I kicked myself for missing out on it since Justin Strubing is one of my many favorite skaters. The original buyer was selling the board so I had to snap it up. It was either this or the Foundation reissue.

Got the 54 mm tears? They got a cool Graff graphic

Scored the alexis cons. Went a half size up because they don't got the 8.5.

Definitely painting those black. I love scratched up black paint on white. Looks killer.

i never have a good time with their boards. they always feel heavy and dead to me. ive had over 20 bbs boards through the years just cause so many companies i like use them but more often than not i’ll stop using it after one or two sessions

Just ordered a deck & pair of Dickies from 35th Ave.
I have three 8.75" w/ 14.5" decks on ice, but I've seen so few on my size recently that I snagged another shape, in case the COVIDs keep the supply scarce for longer than I expect.
My 2nd purchase of Scram, but I haven't even set up the 1st one yet, so I have know idea how the wood is.
Anybody here put in any time rolling around on of one of them? Thoughts?
Doesn't matter much, it's bought & paid for, so I reckon I'll ride it even if it's garbage wood.

What is amazing is the promotions they are running with the board sales:

Would have gone with the 5 boards but I stay in a tiny apartment with zero storage space.

had to do an "order online/pickup in person" from my local.  i have a weird pet peeve where i hate when boards are screened on plain white wood.  i need a nice looking wood grain, or paint over colored wood.  so it looked like red wood grain in the pic, but when i picked it up is that shitty heat transfer over white wood, and the wood feels really light like a price point.  first Tum Yeto board in about 20 years, and might be the last one for a while.
