Picked myself up an early Christmas gift from 35th North:

Excited to finally get another set of 215's after their supply drought. Might be trying to cut them down to 9 inch, to be able to rock that original hangar design on a Powell Tommy G reissue I've been wanting to set up after seeing Chico skate that one.

I've seen someone on Instagram do that. You just have to cut away the aluminum carefully, hammer it off, cut the extra axel off, and rethread the new exposed axel to the appropriate length. I have the tools, been wanting to try it for awhile.

I'll post some process photos if I do that.

Also stoked to try out these 97a F4's on some rough streets.

I don't have the tools, or skills to do that, so I'd be super stoked to see the process.
Enjoy your life.

I know I mess with things a lot but this is crazy taking it to a whole new level, as well as ending up with a very unique product at the end.

Wondering how much of a market there would be for cast Indy hangers in various sizes but in the shape of those reissued 215s, as I know people had been looking for the originals for a long time, as well as asking for another size up from 169s, but not as wide as 215s.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

if i was about that look i'd probably try ace trucks first, but it's cool dicola goes so far. why not if your able to and that's what you want to skate.

found a pair of nike sb gt blazers on sale at the local 35 dollars. but damn these fit so snug. should have half sized up. it’s weird. they’re broken in, but just too narrow.

I don't see why 109s and 215s are limited in size yet standard Indys are victim to extra weight due to the fat yoke...if it was a structural issue, the 215s would be the ones bending due to lack of support...so why does the rest of the lineup suffer from wings and fat yokes?

Also, just ride ACE (if you want the look an sizing, unless sponsored of course).

215s ride differently (better for me) than other Indy stage 11s. IMO like a blend between 169s and Ace 66, but bigger and even more classic looking. Sometimes in pictures it makes the boards look like tech decks lol.

I was talking to my buddy about this a few weeks ago, I really want to try sizing them down too. I wish I grabbed more on Black Friday deals, since I have the tools and shop space now that I'm back in school. Would love different sizes of this geometry and performance, like 8.75-9.5".

I have some Ace 55 and 66, which turn significantly tighter than 169s or 159s. However the 215s turn just as well as the Aces, if not better, and with less wheelbite. Although 215s do have more wheelbite than other Indys stage 11 sizes, and a slightly lower axle height. The 215s, being Indy, have more rebound out of the turn, but a more similar turn radius to Aces. Both are great honestly, just 215s handle big wheels better. I've been running turn radius experiments with 215s and Ace 55 & 66 the past few days, and they are really close.

Would be funny to wear this shirt into bed with your significant other and they're like "babe, how can you be awake if you're going to sleep" or something like that. Haha

It's ok they made a shirt just for that occasion.

Ahah! Brilliant. No way that's real from Venture? If it is, props on them for leaning into the joke.

Not bought per se, but a homie who runs Nonexistent Skates and Pragmatic Prints in Portland sends me decks from time to time and this most recent one is too good to skate. Keeper for sure. Screen printing on point.

Found the Real Full SE 8.5" Ishod at a local shop after complaining on here that I couldn't find them anywhere. (Go figure!) That and some red trim (seems like red = 101 and blue = 99 duro on the packaging/wheel trim) 53mm F4 101 Conical Fulls are my Christmas present to me!   :D

Just arrived:
Kast (Danny Fuenzalida’s company out of Miami, I think?) Flamingo 8.75” shaped/cruiser deck.
14.75” WB
Has the characteristic PS Stix identifying laser etched shape & serial #s, so it’ll be at least a decent ride.
Added it to the stack of other boards I’ve “panic purchased” during COVID.
Basically grabbing up any boards on sale that fit my preferred dims.

Edit: tried to load images, but apparently I have failed again, so I’ve pulled this pic from the internet.
Same, same.

Never had the OG classic shape before.

Also picked up a $lave Pat Burke 8.3, 4 shop boards (8.3 x 2, 8.75, 9), Reds, hardware
