What happened to being stuck on the Creature VX decks? I bought 5 just based off your recommendation?!? (JK)

I still have a bunch of those lol. My knees started hurting on my third VX board in a row after skating stairs and drops. I think it’s because I’d sometimes land on the tail/nose and it wouldn’t flex when taking the impact. It could also be because I’m feeling the effects of skating for 25ish years. Since they have the carbon fiber layers they’ll probably stay in good shape for the foreseeable future and I can skate one every now and then. I also have 6 other non-VX boards to skate too. My madness involves buying multiples of things I like

Nice. I have a pair of black ones 8in for $60 brand new. I got them for birthday present but my ocd only allows me to skate chrome ones. Dm me if interested

Thanks, but I guess i should have specified. These are 149s, so 8" wouldn't work for me.

I’ve been curious about the Lynx Zero since they dropped, but I feel like you get what you pay with shoes and saw the $65 price tag as a deterrent rather than a good value. The $75 model with super suede seemed like a better investment, but I also I ain’t paying full price for them. Got some of the first run Grey Day 1010, which are noticeably made from softer suede. Got 2 pairs of the Beef 1010 which feel similar. I had the black/white ones prior which are a smoother matte suede and definitely felt stiffer. The new Grey Day ones were mega stuff, tongue was kinda wack, and the plastic eyelets seemed hard to pull laces through.

So ya, guess I mostly skate NB now.

Some decks. Toy Machine 8.25, Long Beach Skate shop deck 8.6 (cause someone said it has a similar shape as FA), and an 8.5 Welcome Evil Twin.

Skating another one right now. The graphics look great in real life and the product feels high quality. The 8.5” shape is pretty good. Long with relatively mellow concave.

I used to love mellow concave like Enjoi. Now for some reason i'm feeling mid to deep concave for some reason. I guess a persons type of skating changes over time.

Were the LB Skate shop decks close to the FA shape?

They have some shapes that are the same as Baker shapes and shapes that are the same as FA shapes. The one that was the same shape as FA boards felt like FA in my opinion.
