I know that I will always be able to buy skateboard decks but the How big is your stack and Tariffs threads got me a little concerned that the prices could go up quite a bit and I only have one spare deck at the moment. I just ordered three of these for $92 w/free shipping. One for me and one for each of my kids. I emailed ATM and it's BBS wood. The 8.38 has an 14.5 wheel base, which I like and the 8" is 14.25, which the kids both like. If the skatepocalypse happens, we'll all be riding ATM!

Glad you got them sorted and yeah, $30 for a BBS board is a good deal anywhere.

Copying to the Woodshop thread too, just in case anyone else checks there for the info.

Thanks!

ATM is stocked locally and their shapes are all the generic BBS shapes. 8.38 is actually 14.38. I had one and sanded the graphic off.

I've never actually measured the wheelbase on the standard BBS 8.38 that claims to be 14.5 but it's what I like.

I'm totally fine with this graphic and honestly couldn't be bothered to take the time to sand a graphic off even if I hated it.

A couple of fresh decks and some new 56mm Spitfires.
The China GT is much steeper in the kicks and concave then the BBS Eagle.

I would be curious how you find the China made 9 as it seems like it is made on a shorter mold, so the bolt holes are already into the kicks, on the one I set up and skated just recently.

Had to drill it in, which worked fine, but some people might not want that board in a 14.5 type wheelbase position just to make it worth skating.  That said, I am a bit of a baby about some things, so maybe other people might find it not so weird as I did.

Sorry if I just spoiled it for you.  Madness Support thread here if needed:

Got 2 pants. Polar 93 and some Butter "Baggiest". They seem super nice and paying 40€ and 32€ is a nice plus.
God bless Vinted and the posers selling their pretty much new stuff.

My local shop uses BBS blem decks as shop decks. They recently got a batch from BBS that accidentally included DLX Basalt decks. I got an 8.25x14.38 Basalt Easy Rider for $40, fairly stoked on that.

Just came from a hectic clearence sale.. Anyone remembers the crazy deals Junkyard did a while back? For the one who doesnt know, its a Swedish online store where Sweet and most of the Sour team originated from. They got bought up by some corporate shit that owns a few different clothing chains, and had a massive pandemic stock where they did pretty massive deals a while back, since they are gonna stop sell skatestuff.

The corporate company has a clearence store for all their brands about an hour away from Gothenburg, where I live, and they have had Junkyards last stock there mostly shop boards but some trucks and wheels, been there a few time to pick up boards for 10$, and half of that for trucks and wheels. Grip 2 for one dollar.

But today they had 4 for 10$ dollar on all skate stuff, and found some more boards in the warehouse. Got 32 boards, 5 palace, one Polar and one Anti-Hero, rest shop and inhouse branded boards. 4 set of trucks, 2 Ace and two Krux (All they had) and 13 set of wheels - Satori (Gunez pro model!), Bronx wheels and shop wheels. Also got 9 TSG helmets for my friends shop.

So 32 boards, 4 set of trucks, 13 set of wheels and 9 helmets - for 140$  ;D
