I'm pretty sure it can, there was some shit on the news a few years back about college kids "drinking" liquor in their assholes and eyeballs and it still gets into your system.  It was a really serious news piece  and it can lead to mad health complications but I was laughing my ass off watching it.

Now I can't stop imagining a frat party with a bunch of drunk dudes sat with their asses in the air and funnels up their cinnamon rings. That's got good times written all over it. Let's not forget that a normal piss up can get pretty messy but this would probably be a nightmare.
