13 year old Jagger Eaton wins Tampa AM!
« on: December 07, 2014, 04:26:31 PM »
Anyone that saw the broadcast witnessed the 2nd and 3rd runs. Some of the best skating to go down at Tampa this year, Micky Papa would have taken it but bailed a trick midway and couldn't make up for it.

Best trick contest was a gongshow. Super annoying to see someone try switch tail 270 10 straight times. IF YOU ENTER A BEST TRICK, MAKE SURE THE TRICK YOU TRY WILL WIN 1ST  PLACE. It's better to fail than do some mediocre trick noone cares about. Fuckin so irritating and disrepectful for the guys killing themselves on NBDs

do we still have to call out age? especially in a skatepark contest?

knibbs should've won or at least placed. I was there, and the energy in there was crazy when he was going, doing tricks or not. Other than that, everyone was relatively quiet when everyone else was skating.

It definitely was a good run, but there for sure is such thing as little kid points. If you saw the exact same run from a 19 year old that no one has heard of, the results probably wouldn't have been the same.

That kid was flying. He bailed a lot though from what I saw (first and second run.) I think the energy was like that because he's from Tampa. Really good skateboarder nevertheless.

He didn't win or place because he is a Boardr rider.

there was some tampa local killing it and getting mad daps. guess it was knibbs. I saw his last run he stepped off so I kind of forgot about it, but you can tell he skates tampa a lot and has skill. mad stupid if he rides for a rival shop only to get underscored, they need better judges for sure preferably guys that don't work for SPOT

Yeah he probably would have placed if he never left spot for the boardr. Even the dudes that work the shop at spot were saying that.

Mad Daps Yo

I could see Charlie Sheen replying back like in the movie Money Talks: Imagine that. It's like a G-Dog on a fly tip. Flossin' wit da posse. Cuttin' in da crib. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?

I thought micky papa run was much better, he fliped in to every grind, switch too. Kinda disappointed he got second to some kid and I dont even like him that much. Kid also has similar backstory with Nyjah so I am told, he is being trained by his father to skate or something like that. Almost needs to welcome Papa to the team.

Kid seems stupid. Actually, the whole contest and the level of skating looked shitty compared to back in my day when Sierra and Spanly and those guys won it.

Not even going to watch it, but I remember seeing one where his dad talks about how he goes the skatepark right after school and trains for x amount of hours every day. Super lame
On another note, I was hoping Kevin Phelps got up in there! He's holding it down for CT right now.

Who wasn't a kook when they were 13? Nothing wrong with training the word is strongly disliked by skaters though hahaha

You think Felipe isn't out there skating ledges 4 hours a day, if that's not training what is it?
