2020 cemented my hate for dunks

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

Idk

I clearly remember a time when the dunks were both a hypebeasts wet dream and available to normal skaters. 2010ish maybe?

Wait so Nike has a different rider now named CK???
Going into to business with Vallely is the skateboarding equivalent of starting a land war in Asia, just don't.

I think these shoes look really cool while being skated but this video was really disappointing. Deserved better skating. chicago Dunk video is still the golden standard for dunk promotion in recent years.

i remember this as well. i actually really used to enjoy skating the dunks, they were easily accessible and made extremely well from 2003-2009. at the time i worked in the warehouse for a canadian distribution, which also had a shop, a nice perk of working in the warehouse was that you'd get 50% off at the shop. being able to get them for $60 was real nice.

would love it if they made some colorways that shops could consistently stock and provide people who would like to skate them the ability to do so.

2009-2012 or so I could get them on the sale rack at my shop EASILY for $50-80. My favorite shoe, song with the accel. Can’t wait for the hypebeasts to find something else to obsess about so I can actually buy them to skate/wear them.
