That said, Guy's "Mouse" part is my favorite too, but it's seriously pretty corny to use the Headhunters imagery for YOUR debut pro model. Leave the visible influence to your trick selection. There's endlessly great lp covers for jazz funk greats to have to choose that one.

Congratulations to Al Davis. I think it's genuinely sick how skateboarding has gotten to the point where dudes can get by and kick around for damn near a decade, but ala Terpening or now Al, for whatever reason they really don't truly come into their own until after 25, and then when they do they go pro for legitimate companies, no problem. Or even with Lucas, having been pro for years as a former teenage prodigy, but only now in his late 20s is he really hitting his stride. In the "everyone's good" era, its beginning to parallel the fine art world a lot more often now in how especially if you're not a linear trick progression dude, it's possible that you'll reach your true prime much later in adulthood. You don't go pro for inventing nose slide-nosegrind or "placing 2nd" at 17 and are retired at 22.

So happy about this. I've followed Al his whole career as I'm also from Ohio, but the past couple years he has transcended being the "hometown hero" and turned into someone I genuinely consider one of the sickest skaters out, most definitely in the conversation for best style. I think it also says something about patience, and sticking with a brand through the ups and downs. Hopefully some footy comes shortly, but for now, ORDER PLACED. Congrats Al!
