Donnie, you TOTALLY stole the idea of posting Engrish by seeing my posts in the WTF thread. You will pay for this, you will pay. Just keep it in mind man.

p.s. Seeing these things in Japan is pretty normal. I don't know what they are thinking when they write them.

This messege
is meaningless.
We are
performing
so that what
We should perform
may be performed.
We think that
it is
rock(n)roll.

I feel a lot of those phrases have to be intentional, I mean, somebody had to have seen/heard the word before right? I think its that guy's joke.

Lost in translation - like "Tete de Rhum", is "Head of Rum" in French makes no sense in English, but it means it's slang of getting pissed on Rum

Yeah, but how do you account for the words "shit" and "fuck" on little kids clothing. If somebody asked me what those meant the first thing I'd tell them is that they are profanities.

I'm started taking chinese classes, as a part of my studys and I can't wait to be able to read the signs properly. I guess there'll be lots of chinese restaurants called: "we spit in your food" and so on. Also those crappy tattoos. I saw a sticker with a hanzi sign on it on a car. It read "love" in roman letters underneath it. But I can tell already it's not the sign for love.

You sure it wasn't the traditional or simplified character for 'love'?

Well to tell you guys one thing about the swear words on the childrens shirts, in Japan, they don't have swearing. The meanest thing you can say to a person is "go die, idiot" or something similar. There are no insults "exept for pussie, which is 'manko'" that you arn't allowed to say infront of your parents like fuck, shit, etc.

So the t-shit makers probably thought, "hey, lets right idiot on the shirt", and it came out as FUCK YOU! or something. They don't know what inappropriate words are.

I can't tell by now. I assume there are again ten ways of writing love, but I still hope that somewhere they sell love stickers that actually mean: "I am the other way around".
