Weed & skating go together like peanut butter & jelly. Can't have one without the other.
Lately my perfect recipe is sativa before and for the first couple hours of skating. Then, halfway through the day, switch to indicas.
I stopped drinking 2 1/2 years ago. But before that; drinking and skating went hand in hand for me. It's kind of tricky though. You have to keep skating in order to sweat out what you're putting in. Try to maintain that mellow buzz. If you stop for too long; you get too drunk.

Not technically a drug, but I went skating last night right after going to the gym and I was still pretty pumped on pre workout and I fucking hated it. for like the first hour and a half my legs were all jittery and didn't work properly. Don't know how people can skate on speed or e.

Skating stoned is pretty fun though, but I usually only smoke near the end of the session because it demotivates me too much.

forgot to add, once upon a time in baton rouge i got kicked out of circle K on state st for panhandling about 7 AM. i went to LSU under the influence of being up all night and klonapin and skated a flatbar off a drop and swollied a 5 set. of all matts, mattofallmatts should know the one i speak of.
i kinda like benzos and skating, they take away a bit of hesitation/self preservation but don't make me wobbly like booze. more so than skating though, i like them for accessing vacants [to skate] and pouring illegal concrete in my blue onesie. benzos are the secret ingredient in my midnight construction as well as breaking and entering w/ intent to get radical.

1-3 beers im chilling no different then drinking some water (except after the session when you feel like shit). 3-6 beers I'm getting hurt doing something dumb 9 times outta 10...A shiner is in that future.

Bud - No different..,Maybe more creative, but 99% I'm stoned at some point in the session.

Past those two I don't think i've mixed other intoxicants with skateboarding. I let skating be with skating and leave other intoxicants for those specific situations.

My balance is too fucked up after drinking. Either I drink a couple beers and don't really feel it and I skate the same as I would sober, or I have a few and I'm buzzed and my balance is all off.
Skating on weed is fun, but like will said it has to be the right kind, or else I'm just lazy the whole time.

like others have said, warm up before getting faded and don't over do it. this helps with the parinoia because you will know if you are having a bad session before you get faded and a lot of times by that time if it throws off your session you've already put in the work and can just cruise.

was gonna write exactly this. after three or four you still have the heightened sense of confidence to try new things, but you're almost surely going to just bust your ass on those new things. maybe just me cause i suck.

in the texas heat, sipping coors light can keep a session going. put your ice chest near a shade spot and start and end your lines there. used to skate like this a lot in 100+ temps. under those conditions you can go through more than 2-3 and still get more done than you would sober because sober you'll be like fuck it within 30 mins.

Any uppers get me hyped to skate down shit thats way bigger than what I would normally fuck with. Mix in some weed and the skating starts to flow naturally. Really, weed any time and my skating flows way easier.

Yes, and it sucked. I was just skating from point A to B. My whole body felt like jello and I was sweating like a storm. But when I did get to B I had some of the best sex of my life.

One of my friends in high school who was better than everyone else used to skate on pain killers. I thought that was pretty weird but he loved it and it didn't seen to hold him back. Dude was just s natural and so good but has since gone mental. It seems like some of the best skaters I knew growing up just gave up completely if they didn't make it.

Skated street a bunch of times on acid. I fucked off from the spot and skated down the sidewalk doing flatground tricks thinking I was Ricky Oyola opening up EE3. Curb tricks become magical.

Blow, fuck that shit. Couldnt land a single thing except a weak-ass front board on the flatbar... Focused my own trucks.......... embarassing.

Weed..... Everybody I know and skate with doesnt consider this anything. When you're on a perma-bake its kinda hard to tell the difference and it actually feels normal to skate when baked.

Ecstacy/MDMA/MDA - Hit or miss. First time I skated was after a club at a homies place, whipped out the board and kinda danced with the shuvs and nollie shuvs. If theres a nice breeze you're gonna be playing with your hair.

DMT - Visuals were too intense and I had no motor skills whereas my mind was blasted into the seventh dimension of the introverted galaxy.

Mushrooms/psilocbin - Kinda like acid but more paranoid for some reason...

weed is okay, but if its too strong of an indica i am reduced to like half my tricks.
a beer or two helps but i had my only serious injury skating after drinking a lil cheap whiskey.
uppers make me too jittery to do anything. as far as hallucinogens go- acid is the way. mushrooms fuck my depth perception up way too much.

whoever asked about syrup- i used to be down with that shit, but rappers talk about it all the time nowadays and its really hard to get a script for having a smokers cough.
