I feel like Nanda Zipp is often forgotten about. Good style, cool name.

Most of his transworld uno part is filmed in my neighborhood. Jon Miner told me Nanda bought the camera, Jon filmed the part, and Nanda returned it for either store credit or full cash refund.

david clark?
[close]

Turned pro for some outdoors style company at the top of this year, krooked definitely wasted some stock on him

Once when I was little I met David Clark and his crew at Louisville Skatepark. He was doing switch frontside salad grinds on the tall flatbar. His friends were older and were really hyping him. He was obviously good. i remembered his name for some reason and it was crazy when he blew up a few years after that. Now he's a "forgotten skater." makes me feel old.

TIL david clark doesn't exist outside atlanta
he's just went pro for this new company

Doesn't he do animation for Adult Swim in Atlanta, nowadays?
[close]
That sounds fucking fun.
You joking? Animation is completely mental torture.

http://skately.com/library/ads/sub-zero-skate-shop-sergei-trudnowski-1996 Sergi was heavy ripper at mid nineties Love Park. I was lucky enough to skate there in 1995, saw him skate he ripped hard all day. Kalis and Stevie gave the spotlight later on but Philly was sick before then check the Sub Zero video link here for raw East Coast Sunday viewing.

Sergi is still skating in Philly currently, nice dude

Yeah I'm never gonna forget him. He's like one of the top east coasters the history of.

Dam Dan Perterka is kinda a lost classic skater. He basically brought us from curbs to ledges in the hstreet timeline.
Pretty sure he skated to MJ. I've been telling fools ever since. The best part of video should always be MJ. Or Prince. That works too.
That the top artists in pop land. Let's be honest. It's always been about breaking through to the normies.
MJ + MJ should have happened. Maybe we'd have no Nazi around anymore. You know as the world goes from static power to smooth sailing new lube land.

Then Jereme did it next I was like damn. Guess he was listening. He fuckin deserved it too. Stylisticly he buried all in that film.

You know it's true. Plan B ruined the Boston movement. That was a horrid mistake. I was like GD nah I'm from fuckin Marbehead not Boston. Where as before I was like never heard of this thing called Marbehead birthplace of the American navy.

I believe Marbehead actually is the high radiation zone for rippers. It's really hard to explain the scenes from the 70s to now. We even had a brief scene in the hulahoop era with my dad's friends.

Now we got the Gonzarelli the books closed. East coast wins. We got fuckin PJ TJ and Cole. And isn't MJ actually from Virginia.
Y'all got dway. I'm claiming Australia for Boston too. We want that SOTY land. Y'all can have Russia and China bitches.
We got India

This might be the single best sentence on SLAP in years, with or without context.

My knowledge on current skating isn’t very good but…what happened to Kenny Hughes? Guy was really good and then seemed to disappear.

Kenny lives in NYC and works as a bouncer at a few different spots last time I seen him. Granted this was pre pandemic…. might be doing something different at this point but I know he’s still in NY.

Lem Villemin comes to mind. It actually took me a while to find him cause I couldn't remember his last name. He was sick though I really liked his style. His going pro part for cliche was tight. In my memory he was everywhere back then, then outta no where never saw an ad or part of his again.

sw heel over and into the yellow bank in Portugal (I think?) always stuck out in my memory. twas a nice one.

Jon Allie was a mad man in the 2000s and his New Blood part is etched in my brain forever. Surprised he doesn't get more love. He was a handrail destroyer.

Was watching Real to Reel the other day and I don’t think I ever heard Damian Bravo mentioned after that video.

He had a small part in roll forever. “Always sand from the top, never from the bottom, son.” After that nothin’.
Got me thinking of another short lived real rider Chris Trembley.

Gone but not forgotten

He had footage in seeing double also
