Over the last month ive recieved messages from from two individuals working for a well known brand, asking me to post positively on all their riders slap coverage in exchange for a bit of free product. I declined as I dont really like the brand or China wood boards. When I told them it was kinda odd, they said, most pals are getting forum flow from one brand or another...

Thats pretty nuts if true, but I cant say im suprised. Since I declined ive been getting kooked like crazy...

Meh I was going to say, but they still support a team of pros, so i dont want to give them negative press, its not the riders fault, but they could be the ones to suffer as a result of it.

i guess the cat is out of the bag. ever since I blew slap away with my post on how ishod went pro (with link to berrics) i have been rolling in free gear from the top companies in skateboarding. everything from an ergonomic keyboards, cases of limited edition redbull and some amazing crackers. basically anything that will keep me posting great about their company. one company (who will not be named) even got me one of their pro's signature hatchbacks. i am sorry i held this back from you guys for so long. honestly is such a relief coming forward with this.

This is just plain wrong. Compensation for a positive opinion? Slap Pals are the tastemakers and would never stoop to something like this that calls their credibility into question.
