Bad shoe thread

Saw this in the Nike or Adidas thread and LOL'd. How about we get a thread where we post pics of shitty skate shoes. Not necessarily based on performance, but stuff that sells to the non-skateboarding market and other abortions.

And theses were the worst shoe I skated in. Sole felt like concrete, never broke in. Haven't bought Lakai's since.

True, tried skating in a pair and was one of the worst shoes EVER.

I've only kept the Wu Welsh Newport ones that I got on sale.

When I was in middle school I was obsessed with these shoes. I wanted them for so long. To this day I think they are one of the best looking shoes ever. When I finally got a pair after months and months of waiting I started skating them and these giant bubbles formed in the sole. It was like some layer of glue between the base of the shoe and the sole was really shitty and came apart and let air in. I exchanged my pair at the store cause it was a legit defect. The new pair i got did the same thing but I wanted to skate the shit out of them so bad that I popped the bubble on the sole and threw a bunch of super glue on the puncture wound to patch it up. Still bummed on these shoes after all these years...

Did anyone ever get a chance to skate the emerica cruisers?? i remember that being one of the only shoes that i just couldn't get used to. Ive always loved all the emericas i've tried (The hsus, original laced, reynolds vulc, Figgys,) but i remember being really underwhelmed with that shoe, it was ridiculously slippery and couldn't really skate at all with it.

I remember my friend having a pair of those. They had an awful shape to them, and felt so gross

Your dad's deck shoes and gamgam's post-op orthopedic shoes got busy:

I'd buy these. Why the hell not. Can I buy them? I'd much rather these shows than a lot of other shoes from the look of them.

I had these too. I picked them up really cheaply because I was intrigued with the tech.

Holy shit were these things stiff. The airbag seemed to run the entire length of the sole giving you 0% board feel. The rubber upper was also really rigid. Pretty much impossible to skate.

Ended up wearing them to the gym but they were too uncomfortable, so I chucked them.

They were heavy and bulky, skated like garbage..  probably the thickest tongue I've ever seen. Super comfy off the board tho, I would pick up another pair just to lounge in

I had those and didn't have any defects. Got them on clearance at Zumiez, of all places. Out of all the Accel's I had, those were the best. Thick, quality leather. Last forever. Took me all summer and then some to finally retire them. Took a couple of sessions to break in though.
