i had some friends that lived up north and we found the best place in the hills and had so many sessions.
its just us in the woods getting tricks.
it was so badass! pure freedom!
usually we just snowskate now but im gonna try and buy a used burton.

essentially I did the math and it was worth buying my own board at the rate I'm going snowboarding b/c renting is such a bitch and costs too much $$$. Plus rental gear is so shitty and uncomfortable.

I live/d near a resort. Last winter I picked up a used 158 gnu from around 2003. Can't remember bindings or boots off top of my head but it was well worth it last winter. I knew I would be moving farther away for college so I made the most of it last winter when I still got cheap student discounts and went a lot.

Danny Davis is pretty rad. I used to skate with him and his older brother mickey back in the day. I'm not too sure how much he skates now but I think he's got a bowl in his backyard. As far as richboy yuppie shit, I dont know, he wasnt born with a silver spoon in his mouth and put in work to get what hes got. You're just jealous that Max B isn't on a package of pizza rolls.

I'm planning to go as much as I can this year. I'm beyond caring about the 'scene' now. Just gonna go out and carve up the north east hardpack. I just hate how much the lift tickets are.

The 'scene' you speak of is fucking absurd, so many kids walking around with bandanas on, some dudes even where grills, its seriously the gayest shit ive ever seen

I was at Whistler this weekend, when I first got there I was getting so many looks I was convinced I was a convicted felon or had just raped their daughter, people are so stuck up, you get mean mugged by literally everyone, even old ass ladies
