yah so I hear! thats good for them, super catchy band, I heard NME is all over them these days... they write really great songs for being so young. If they are together in 5 years they will be huge, they just need some time to develop.

Their EP kicks ass. They are touring with Ratatat in Europe, but they won`t be joining them here in Norway. Sucks.

yah thats sweet... I just have a problem with the fact that whenever I wanted to see them in the past I would just go to the bar the night they were playing and have fun, now I apparently have to get my tickets months in advance for their gigs and Im not used to that. Them and ratatat would be sick though.

they definitely added a little energy and flavor the mix at the bars I used to chill in when they hit the scene. I remember the first time I was in the bar and that "fuck you I won't do what you told me" song came on, the whole place just went crazy. They also killed lollapolooza in 92. Them followed by tool in the heat 106 degree summer day in Houston was really tight at the time. I also ended up sitting right next to Zach et all in the political tent for a good while without really even realizing it. Those guys were actually in the tent for a good bit of the day talking politics with a bunch of stoned kids on acid. Imagine how annoying that would be for them but they still hung in there while I am sure the rest of the bands were chilling backstage.

yeah. i tried to see them in seattle in 95, but the police ended up macing the crowd outside before the doors opened.

This will be my 5th year in a row! Best festival in the United States! 2005 was the best for me. Gang of Four playing right before New Order! This years bands to see....
