Kenny Reed/Thrasher on Last Week Tonight last night talking about skateboarding in Iran.  Plus, John Oliver totally fucks up a joke about skateboarding.

First time seeing that, shit was spot on +1

That reminds me of living in Pacific Beach in the very early 2000's.

I can't remember which movie it is.... I think it was one of the American Pie movies or some other generic early 2000's high school/college party movie, but there was a party scene that had some kid in the background wearing a chocolate shirt.  I tried to google it but no luck.

sounds like a promising google search; "chocolate shirt in early 2000's generic college party movie"

I was flipping through the channels last night and I found it. It was Superbad.

supreme's "blessed" came out last week. also out last week: the latest episode of netflix's "patriot act," in which hasan minhaj examines supreme; and the debut of apple's 2018 holiday commercial, in which the box logo sticker is prominently featured. coincidence?

Skating is so cool and trendy now, it's not at all shocking or surprising to see it whored out on TV shows and movies. That Plan B hat on JTT is dope, though.

Not on TV but was watching this Atari documentary and found this. This game Space Cavern with the Thrasher font, came out a year after Thrasher. What's the backstory behind the Thrasher font anways? Was it made for/by thrasher or was it already a type of font people were using back in the late 70s and early 80s? Either way thought it was a cool find and maybe theres some cool skateboard industry tie in behind the game that someone here knows that Google ain't telling.

Golden. Thanks homie. Appreciate it. 1950s damn. that's a neat fact, also picked up a few other examples from that wiki. Not skate branded persay but I'll always associate that font with thrasher and none of this is worth making a new thread over so ima put these here instead of clogging up the forum with another shit thread.

I miss Robin Williams. Is there anything not to like about Him. Even his relapse story from twenty years ago is wild.

Someone went through the trouble of swerving copyright protection on an episode of home improvement.

I feel so much better about what I do with my time on the computer.
