Also during Rowley's Propellor part -- Watching him shred those ditches. Took me back to the LA river FS flip from Sorry. A reminder that Rowley has not stopped progressing through his age. A living, ripping legend.

Reynolds in Stay Gold was heavy at the time. Holy shit. Also the outro in This is Skateboarding, I used to watch that video every day for years. Pj Ladd's WHL gets me also. I will think of more, right after I should take a hot shower and let everything that I just told you sink in.

Yea, Guy's part in Video Days had such a big impact on me as a kid because we were both the same age and that part in particular was just such a big deal for skating, at least that's how I felt at the time. I stopped skating for about 10 years or so and when I started up again Guy was nowhere to be found and I found out that he had basically piled out I was kind of bummed.

Seeing him come back in Fully Flared with such a high level of skating, talking about the premier and stuff, combined with the choice of song....yea I choked up, no lie.

Penny's comeback in Sorry, skating to La Vie en Rose and Venus in Furs, along with all that trippy shit, made me a wee bit emotional.

I've never cried while watching an actual skate video but I do remember getting a little glossy eyed watching the Danny Way documentary. Especially at the part where his mom gave him some of his dads ashes and he put it in his pocket so he could be with him when he jumped the Great Wall.

Also I had a friend who cried watching Fulfill the Dream during the montage where they are all riding horses and bro-ing down and that Cat Stevens song is playing. We made fun of him a lot for that.
