WHO THE FUCK IS BILL

I'm Bill.  I've given Gest shit over a few of his posts/topics, so I guess he assumed you were me for doing the same.

Red Curb: So you say that the way you push doesn't have anything to do with your style? If a person does flawless tricks, but pushes like a monkey, doesn't this affect his overall style?
So what do you think about Stevie, Koston, Gillet, or Jesus Fernandez and their mongo pushes?

Switch push is like the least relevant part of your style.  You can push switch however you want, because nobody really gives a shit.  I guess it's regarded as icing on the cake for a lot of people.  It's nice to see a good switch push, but still nobody really gives a shit so it's not necessary.

Oh yeah, he's ALWAYS pushed switch that way.  His style is not squeaky clean, but those of us who like his style like it because it's his own.  Respect that, ho.

Short version: Still think Reynolds push has become worst and more arms flapping about. Don't like the fact that people who has been skating for so long has to push mongo switch. Don't like Stevie Willams. That's all, I suppose.

Long version: To be honest, I don't care for Stevie at all. Those others I like, but I also like their skating style, well, Koston and Gillets style that is. Fernandez I haven't been a fan of, but after seeing that line with the bs 360 kickflip, I'm looking forward to his next part for sure. But to answer your question, the topic is: whose style has gotten worse, and used that as an example, cause I do believe pushing has somewhat to say. And I realise this is switch, but people give Leo Romero shit for his switch pushing, so there shouldn't be any problem with me stating the same thing about a different skater, right? The point is, Koston and Gillets style hasen't gotten worse in my eyes, and therefore, I didn't mention them. Maybe their name would have come up in a "Ugly switch pushing" thread, but I couldn't really say. I will admit that Gillets ss pushing is kind of funky looking at for sure, but he kinda looks in controll. I wish people who skated 15+ years could learn themselves how to push good switch, but you can't get the cake and eat it to. Koston looks better though.

jb pushes funky? Wow!!!

Like I said, the mags created a monster. You guys worry too much about every little detail.

On the real, who cares if someones finger is curled up when they skate or how long their laces are?
Sounds like some gay shit to me. If you want robots, start cloning. Bet you'll be sorry you did that.

Hehe, funky, as in wierd, but not sketchy nor exactly smooth. Just funky.

I'm not into the whole robot styles either. Some of the styles/skaters I like: Dylan Rieder, Puig, Hsu, Syvanen, David Gonzales, Mariano, Koston, Rowley, Apples, Arto, Palmquist, Trapasso. Just so you guys get a sense of who I like, and feel free to diss.

Imagine if you were Koston... He's 30+  now and outdoing himself will only get harder and harder.

He's the g.o.a.t. next to Mariano in my opinion.

He can skate like Nate Sherwood and I won't change my opinion.

this is to everyone talking shit about peoples clothing:

going to art school, the only people who seriously critique peoples wardrobe are fashion design majors.

70% are women and 30% are gay men.

basically people who seriously analyze peoples clothing are bitches and fags.

which one are ya'll?

this was a cool post

damn u coldblooded haha!

Most of you have no glue what you are talking about.
People who read Vogue magazines mix up Style
with Styling- and most of you with stylish or personal
flavor- but this doesnt mean style in general.

Style is something you dont need to discuss- you feel
it if you meet the person in real life. Its about your presence,
your bodylanguage and your  mind setting. Any good dancer, fighter,
Actor, Painter will  recognize a good style.

You can give any bitch on the street a good styling, maybe you
have s stylish kickflip, you can take a kid from the next skatepark
and shoot a stylish picture- but this have nothing to do with your
style in general.

Kosten for example one of the most talented skaters ever - he have
done outstanding things on the skateboard - and some with a great style,
but as  a person in general - if you see him grocery shopping,  at the bar,
chilling at the Golfclub he have no style.

Peoples style change - Hosoi was a stylegod - even on drugs in the 90s he was
style wise untouchable- but after jail his style changed - he is still good on the board,
but he is not the stylegod anymore he was back in the day...
Other people like Pat Ngoho had a good style as a kid - but with getting older he develop his style.

To come back to Cardiel he will come in on a wheelchair with more style then most of us ever.

Mother Goose.

Shane O'Neil in khakis and in  a pique shirt will look dull and  generic but someone with style say Alex Olson or Austen Gillette in same gear will look totally different.

Let's see you maintain the same style you had at age 22 when you're 35. Reynolds and Penny are fucking legends. End of story.
