this. i was wondering this as well. i guess they care for him since he was there since the beginning or start 2.0 or whatever you want to call it. but it's cool. i like shimizu footage. and if i'm going to get it through nike, i'm ok with that.

I remember seeing Daniel Shimizu at Riverside Skatepark, in NYC for a contest/demo Nike were having in maybe like '03.  Talked to him/fanned out briefly atop a bank; was kind of taken aback cuz dude had track marks on his arm, and I was only about 13 at the time- but I will be God damned if I've ever seen another skater fuck shit up so casually on a course in person. EVER.
