60/40 ratio of Pants vs. Skate comments

Suciu's ADV part was a solid 70/30 of Ass Hair to Skate comments  8)

That ender was definitely an NBD, or maybe someone can correct me.

Silas did it on a handrail and Suciu did it on those rails in Philly for his (I believe) Search the Horizon part.
i think he is saying from grind to grind on a top of a bench. people have done grind to grinds before

You guys all know that bitching about bitching about his pants is part of the conversation around bitching about his pants right? And that you're part of the derailment you're complaining about? Anybody?
[close]

so you dont like his pants, or what?

I like that he's proud that he lost 400lbs and wears his old pants around to show off.

I wanted a pair after seeing Taylor Caruso skate green ones in A-street but the sheer size/price makes the purchase pretty impractical.  It's a blast to watch Gilbert fly around in them though.

That was one of the best pants I've seen in years. The ollie up the ledge to ollie over the black fence in the beginning was fucking sick. Half cab flip over the block he sw popped shuved over was crazy too. That ender was definitely an NBD, or maybe someone can correct me. I think some of you of are fishing for anything with some of these complaints. Because you know the song wasn't thaaat bad and you know he was basically wearing dickies with a shoelace belt and not jncos/blind jeans...

fixed  ;D

Can't believe people are bitching aboot people bitching about pants. Of course his skating is amazing, as we all expected it to be! not much else you could say on that front besides watching it over again.

If Gilberst thinks he's gonna make "best dressed list" in those monstrosities, he's gotta nother thing coming!!!

That was awful. Worst pants in the history of skateboarding. Dude looked like a moron out there.
[close]

Holy fuck your pretty new to skateboarding arent you?

There was a time, believe it or not, when almost everyone wore size 38 blind jeans(in a rainbow of colors) with xxl tshirts and 36mm weels.

Anyhow, baggy pants make skateboarding look better and it should have never left.

[close]

If like 12 years skating is pretty new, then yeah, i'm pretty new to this whole thing.

Gilb's pants are worse than anyone in 411vm issue No. 1. He looks that bad.

Yeah, it's silly to critique pants, but when image is part of why dudes make it in this industry, he's blowing it. Imagine how much better this part would've been if he just had on some normal clothes.

I like the dude, but during his career, kenny reed pulled off some more questionable gear choices than Gilbert did here

They're just fucking baggy pants and half you dudes act like he's wearing a thong made of kitten fur.  get over it

Honestly, I don't remember Reed wearing shit that was too insane (granted it's been awhile since I've watched his skating though) -- If we're talking about iPath dudes, then Matt Field's kits (and shit he wears today) are on another level.
