Wow.  He said he hasn't been super hyped on filming video parts but he definitely still has it in him.  Loved that trick selection.  Anyone saying he was looking off is tripping.  Maybe he has an injury, but just trying to do that line over and over would kill anyone.

He didn't look off, he looked exhausted. Even for P-Rod I'm sure that line must have taken him forever

that was a treat, I like the new pudgy p-rod it's almost like he's becoming a human, no more perfect robo landings and I think it's good cause it adds  more character to his skating. p-rod is starting to grow on me and it's been a while cause the last time I liked him was when he rode for girl.

I was excited for his part after reading the comments, but after that first switch kickturn, I got bummed. Not even an axel stall. He had good ass tricks, but 2 or 3 chances to do a tranny trick passed right by.

Was the huge switch fs blunt or the goddamn crook nollie heelflip on a 10 stair handrail not enough? Had to do some axle stalls?
I did mention he had good ass tricks. You know the whole thing would have been better he he did something for that second trick, I don't want to see him axel stall, but it would have been better than the kickturn, if he had done a switch blunt on there or disaster, that would have been great without being too hard for him.

A few things.

This "I've never been a P-Rod fan" bullshit needs to stop. Every part he's ever put out has been top tier, one of the best skaters alive type stuff. Every part. If this run somehow made you abandon your previous stand on Paul Rodriguez, then you straight up have been blind. None of the tricks he did were out of character in any way.

Too many of you are framing this as if this a Luan vs P-Rod competition. There are ten dudes in this. If you're impressed with Luan's run (you should be), you should know that almost everyone else blows him out of the water. No one else has his speed or flick, but they are going for broke in terms of difficulty and creativity. I know I'm asking a lot out of some of you guys, but you need to go to the berrics and watch the rest.

He more than likely was trying this line all day. He's not losing it, he's just showing fatigue.

Oh, and anyone who thinks he's getting fat is fucking regular.

imo.. that ender was the craziest thing out of all of the run & guns to me so far... i think...

2 things :

have ppl forgotten or do they just not care how good carlos ribeiros is?... his switch heel back smith on the hubba?

2nd, this comp has to go to tiago.. i mean honestly, the switch front feeble? the switch flip back lip to switch bigspin tail?... pretty sure no one in the entire skateboarding world could ever do some of the shit he did.

i scored prods higher than luans tbh... yeah he looks like he put on a pound or 2 and it was a little sloppy for prod on most of the tricks but.. i dno, most of you niggas think some of these pro's are aliens i feel like. anyways..

2015 will go down in the history books as the year in which skateboarders who do ridiculous runs ending with a crooked nollie heelflip out down a good size handrail are accused of being fat, slowing down and being sluggish.

Paul's skating looks off due to his setup change. In this videos he's skating venture highs instead of the usual lows. they have an entirely different feel.

Sometimes I think how good his style is gets overlooked because he prays into his hat and never releases parts. But the way he makes really hard shit look so easy is great.

cannot fathom the mental stamina needed to get through these runs. how do you get up again after hail mary'ing a nollie heel out of that rail at the end and start from scratch w/o your legs going to shit. won't find party animal pros entering this contest.

the berrics is a street plaza setup, i can let lack of transition slide it'd be different if some mug was at burnside doing kickturns.

growing up juggling soccer balls might be the key to elite skateboarding, brazilians are the greatest natural skaters on earth.

Brazil's soccer team is the worst it's been in decades. Run n Gunners get a full 24 hours they can use the park 2-3 times with sleep until they make one they're happy with. Chase probably knows the perfect formula to win, but even he is falling down and breaking cameras now.

seriously. he also had to change it up apparently. i bet more than half the people on here couldn't do a switch pivot if their life depended on it, who gives a shit about that? the one valid point anyone has made against this line or a few others is that he picked his board up which bothered me a bit too at first but, he wouldn't have been able to end it with a bang like that without picking up his board.

Skated that like a Street League contest. Amazing tricks just no flow. What are you people expecting from Prod?
