Excuse me if it’s been asked before, but does anyone have a comparison on the 213 hi to a blazer? The 213 seem to have a bit slimmer profile but it does appear that they have the same sole of a blazer. Are the midsoles adequately thick? Love me some blazers and would like to try the 213’s but I’m trying to avoid flimsiness if I can.

Skating the Tom Knox hi tops now and for what appears to be such a slim profile the toebox is surprisingly wide and accommodating. The sole is very supportive despite also being very seemingly thin. I did replace the insoles with some old Nike insoles however and they have been treating me very well.

Also thanks @Rothdigga for all the continuous intel

Just received the 508's and this has been alluded to in some other comments, but they're about a half size too large. I pretty much only wear NB nowadays and ordered the same size I wear in all their other models. I'd definitely consider ordering a half size smaller than you normally do if you can't try them on in-person.

Will be returning and waiting for the size I need to be restocked, since my local doesn't have them yet.

Have the 1010s. Went tts, mad heel slip. Was bummed. They skate great. So comfortable. I might try a half size down next time, but these feel like the nicest skate shoe I’ve had, maybe ever. The toe box is a little too long, the sizing is off for a narrow heeled person such as me....but goddamn, shoe feels really well made, totally worth the $$$.

I went tts as well and had the heel slip issue at first too, but I just cranked the laces up a little and it solved itself (haven't felt it since the first week of skating em). I agree that a half size down would be a good move though, since it's a suede shoe that would only get roomier as it breaks in.

Damn fine shoe indeed, skates like a dream and durable as all hell. The ONLY flaw with durability is that the collar and piping around the heel can get torn up doing heelflips. Whatever fused layer is beneath the suede is incredible, and touching up stitching with superglue once has kept those from becoming an issue.

I thought I was sold on NB after trying the 440 hi, but these 1010's are the shoes to beat. I hope the amazing colorways continue, don't know if I ever would have tried them had it not been for the brown and black joints.

Tate, you gonna post that colorway yet?   If we can get an Ishod leak, we should be able to see a colorway for a shoe that’s already out

New balance cupsoles would be perfect with a pointier toe

Nah we have plenty of companies with narrow toe boxes New Balance is so refreshing.

I like the navy/gold 440's, not necessarily feeling the 1010's personally but they're not bad. Just need me a lil less of that blue.

I'd really like the  blacked out suede 1010 with the grey N to be in my rotation, does anyone know where I can still find a pair in 8.5 or 9?

I found the 213s to be a bit flimsier than blazers and also flimsier than the 440H. But the 213 insoles were pretty thin so a thicker one might help. I think all of them are great shoes.

quick question: did the sizing in the NB 440 LOWS change from earlier seasons?

I got me the white/green Leather Highs and would have needed a full size down on them.......like i mentioned before i usually was a US8 in Dunks and stuff, Emerica cups also but now i seem to be US7.5 in the tiagos, Dunks, Blazer mids.....
Could just be that the fit of the 440 High has a different feel on them in comparison to the lows though....

Anyway gonna get me some 440 highs in the future now that i know what size to get!
And return shipping was free so....

Was in Zumiez today, I fucking know... But I wanted to check out the shape of that new Real Natas/Silva deck that just came out and they had it in stock. Long story short as I was leaving I checked out the pile of sale rack shoes they had instore and low and behold the 4 pairs of NB# 440 HIs I returned were still sitting there, now at bogo 50% off. For the hell of it I tried them on one last time since these are long gone and ended up rebuying them as they didn't feel as tight in the toe as they did when I first bought them.

* I was also healing a broken ankle so that could of been what was throwing me off with the feel and sizing on this shoe first time around.

I think the NB# 440 and the Vans Crockett High are god tier skate shoes. Can't go wrong with either.

Apart from running big, what can you tell me about the 508s?  How is the toebox compared to the 440 (god tier shoe)?  Wide, narrow, or the same? Do they skate decent?  Boardfeel?  How supportive?  I'm really considering pulling the trigger on a pair, but I'm fucking cheap so they'd better be worth picking up at full price if I do.
