I really want the red/white pair of the 868’s which seems to be a discontinued colorway and I can only find them in 10’s or 11’s. My normal shoe size is 10 but I’m wearing half a size up in my 533 V2’s. For those of you who’ve skated both, do you guys think I could fit the 868 in a 10? Or am I just SOL and just have to hope they bring that colorway back at some point? I want these mf’s BAD

The pair I had fit true to size but they were samples.

I have only skated one pair of 868 and they were samples as well, they fit me true to size but I don't skate with stock insoles in any shoe. I throw on some FP gamechangers and even with the FP insoles they fit me still TTS.

I really didn't feel they stretched out after some sessions skating in them.

Appreciate the help guys! Unfortunately the one eBay store I could find them on had 10's listed as available when they weren't and then the other store I found a pair on kept giving me checkout errors, so I'm SoL

Got some 533 V2's for $54 as a consolation prize tho

Westgate posted this today. Not sure I love this one, a bit too complicated/looks like a bunch of NBs just combined.

Hey Tate, how long do you Microwave your 533 V1’s for? Got a couple and want to make the break in process a little easier since they are mad stiff.

Mine is set to high so I microwave them for only about 45 seconds. Not more than that.

You know it's soft and broken in when you take them out of the microwave and there's a slight smell of burned rubber.

The metal eyelets won’t cause any sparking?
Thanks Tate!

V1 and V2 don't have any metal eyelets or lace holes.

I had some whitish (salt something) and black V1s with the metal eyelets- microwaving each shoe individually for 2 minutes in a 600 W microwave, after removing the insoles. There were no sparks and I was sure to put the insole in straightaway before walking around in them.

Obviously, the shoes were hot to the touch, but really you should just walk around in them for a bit and shouldn't microwave anything other than foodstuffs in appropriate containers.

Man I just flexed, bent, twisted, & folded the hell out of the soles with my hands and they were good to go by the second session. Just take out the insole and flex that shit in every direction. They’re defintely pretty stiff at first but it’s a small trade off for the durability. Idk something about microwaves is just iffy to me you never know how that’s gonna affect the various glues that keep the shoe together. It takes a lil extra effort to do it by hand but it’s not too bad and easier than trying to break them in on foot

Also, I’ve found that the flat footprint insoles are a perfect compliment to the Revlite midsole of the 533’s. Great balance of cushioning and boardfeel.

Found some 533 V2’s for cheap and tried looking for a straight answer in this thread....should I go with a half size bigger? They’re the navy/gold colorway if that makes a difference.

I go half a size up like they recommend on the site, they fit pretty snug

From what I’ve been seeing, it might just be another team shoe. That or Westgate’s seeing as he’s also been using the shoe a lot. No offense to Marquise, but I’m sure they promised Westgate a shoe to get him to sign on with them.

Is the 420 Reengineered even in the numeric line? I have 574 Reengineered's for my every day, walking around shoes, and they aren't skatable in the slightest.  It's just a more tech looking 574 with no stitching, everything seems welded.
