Thanks I honestly don't know what those terms mean, but will give em more time

There's more shit in between your foot when you're wearing 440's (believe there's an actual midsole for absorbing shock). There's less shit in a thin Blazer, giving you more board feel. 440's are probably one of the thinnest cupsoles you can skate right now. Trade-off may not be worth for some, but your feet will thank you.

440's are the shit, btw. I'll probably never buy another skate shoe if they keep making them

Pretty much zero from the recent release in the UK. Bit shit if you aren't into a black or brown 255.

A good alternative for keen beans like me would be to enable orders from the US site.

Did anyone take a screen shot of that Marius colorway coming out.  He had photos of it on his IG stories

I’ve been contemplating getting a pair of the 420’s. How do they fit? Tts? I’ve been wearing some dunks forever (the older style) so I’m used to a puffy tongue and collar. I had a few pairs of those runner style BA’s a couple years ago and had to size down a half size because of the thin collar and tongue. Has anyone had to size down with NB? Any info is greatly appreciated!

They recomend half size down, and they usually suggest to size up on stuff, so I would follow their advice!

Quick question regarding 288s and 440s: do they come with a supportive/ cushioned midsole, like the Reynolds G6?
Thank you

I don't know about the 288, but the 255 is reliant on the insole for cushioning, while the 440 puts everything in the midsole, but includes a thin insole that adds practically nothing. https://imgur.com/gallery/7XLYcmG

I consider the 440s as superior to the Reynolds g6 in everything but durability.

I have sciatica, will 440 or any other models lessen any back strain? This might merit another thread all together.

288 is the same deal as the 440's where everything is in the midsole.

I know these aren’t NB but my Reynolds g6 and suciu 1s helped my back a lot while working retail and skating

yep and look up QL stretches. That helps way more than foam rolling for me.

I asked recently on what NB Numeric model to get since I've been checking them out.
After some bad experience about a year ago buying the NB505 in my true size, 9.5. They were slightly too small and cramped my toes, so I gave them away.

Fast forward, I pulled the trigger on some 440's. Again, I got my true to size 9.5 and they fit very snug but in a great way. They do not feel like I'm constantly stubbing my toes and the midsole cushion feels pretty good.
Haven't really worn them much, but I'm reporting back in to say I'm happy with my normal size in the 440's and they feel like they're gonna skate really good. I'll probably post some pictures once I get some sessions in.

Yeh I see people skating some of the thinner ones a fair bit.
And I was aware they were some dudes tied to 335 that are on flow
I was vague when I posted I was talking about the thicker cup models like 868 n shit.

Honest question where would get shoes in Sydney? Pure curiosity

I'venever seen anyone skate the 868's. I'm skating the 533 v2's at the moment with Lunarlon insoles. They are pretty supportive. I get my shoes from the aforementioned.

Bought a pair of the black 420s and so far they feel really good.  Shop also did a giveaway of a not for sale friends and family edition of the 574s which they gave to me and they are pretty dope.

Hey Roth are the 8five2 x NB's essentially a color way of the AM574's above w/ a better insole?

Yes, exactly that.  We've got a very small amount that we have coming for the US.  Since it's a shop in Hong Kong Colab, we only took 120 or so pairs for the USA, so we'll have some online and a few shops who order them will get a run and that'll be it.

How about some more in the actual NB# line?

Any talk of that?

Would be ideal.
