lol it can ONLY be made with that specific one compound.

The 913 doesn’t really have a place in the numeric line up anymore. 1010 and 933 fill the high tech cupsole niche just fine.

I have the same shoe and the soles turn white from just I assume the weather cause I haven't even skated my pair. That is why the sole looks so white-ish.

Just saw something showing the 306 cupsole. Hoping it fits more like the 440v2 than 480, Westgate, or 1010.

Random but does anyone who really likes the 933s or some DC Lynxs have any opinions on the 808s? Found a non lite version my size & thinkin of pulling the trigger
Haven’t skated the 1010s yet just tried em on in the shop and really liked them (can tell they’ll skate good)

I think I’ve read people on here say they really liked all three of those NBs but that the 808 was the stiffest with the hardest sole to bend & just felt like tanks
But coming off of Lynxs n now 933s i feel like i could get jiggy with that.

I think you’ve hit the main point comparing these models, I love the 1010 and 933 but the 808 OG is just so much stiffer it’s definitely a tank. Rose anvil has a great video comparing all 3 that I think would give you the info you’re looking for.

I remembered that video soon after my post but it’s the lite version which idk, that one looks good but usually the zero or lite version seems like a cheap n floppy version of the og shoe (lynx, accels, kalis etc)

Watched a couple videos on it. If they’re still available later tonight I’ll probably get them. if anything they’re reflective & will be a good night sesh/hill bomb shoe

I will say, the 808 lite feels just as tanky as the OG, honestly couldn’t tell you the difference on foot other than the tongue/lacing

The profile on the Foy Cups remind me of the first PJ shoe, the 566 or the Stratford?

How does the foy compare to the westgate? How about the Tiago to the reynolds?
I like all kinds of shoes, and the reynolds and westgate are my first nbs and both super sick. I want to try their whole lineup…

I’m on a mission to try em all as well, though the 430, westgate and foys are the only models in the current line up that I haven’t tried. As far as 933 vs Tiago’s. The 1010 has a bit more board feel, and the toe box is a bit shorter height wise, and more pointy, which makes for a great flick. I feel like I’ve got to synch the laces a lot more so I don’t get heel slip. They’re also not as stiff, break in easier. The 808 however is a lot stiffer and less board feel, the toe is a bit stubby and they run really tight, I recommend half a size up to anyone considering them, for both the lite and OG.

I've had several sets of both and I'm pretty sure that the 1010 is not more pointy than the 933. In fact I feel like the 1010 has a pretty rounded toe, whereas the runner toe of the 933 makes it a lot pointier

Matter of perspective I guess, I skate both regularly, the 1010 being flatter feels more pointy to me, these sole is definitely more rounded though.

So what’s the sole construction of the 306 cup? Haven’t seen any breakdown or details yet. Full midsole? Or foam in the heel like the 440? Still gonn try a pair regardless of what it is

Board feel gets better for me after they're broken in and the impact protection is still excellent.

533 "Stratford" yes! I definitely noticed that after taking those photos of the 306 cup in person. The feel of the outsole felt  closer to the 533 sole, but slightly softer all around (not in a bad way) and it felt like it was what the 440 wants to be (in my mind)

Sometimes the 533 would feel too hard and "tap dance" shoe-like. Dunks (SB mostly) would also feel like this to me depending on if it wasn't gum or not.

tried on the foy cup today. as a 440/480 fan these are something i'd consider skating. toe box is a bit more roomy but fit true to size.
