BC is officially up river now. The new stuff dropped this week...$500 jackets and whatnot. It was fun while it lasted.

Gosh. Thats a brutal price-tag...well rich NY kids can pay $96 for a scarf. AO really is winning with this.

From what I understand Bianca Chandon is specifically for this type of "fashion" stuff while 917 is for more reasonably priced things for skating.

I see 917 boards around LA. Not a ton, but I've definitely seen them.

Saw a kid wearing a bianca tee the other day, I was sorta surprised.

I mostly see the shit when I'm at a trade show, and dudes who "used to skate" are wearing to to look cool.

Same with Palace, I've never seen anyone skate in Palace gear that wasn't PWBC.
I'm skating in a palace long sleeve right now

I have a ton of Bianca stuff. The items from yesterdays release were pretty nice.

I was really looking forward to Bianca Chandon releasing some new product. One of their last releases prior to this, the Alex Olsen deck with Foghorn Leghorn was awesome. These new releases aren't anything I would even be interested in. Especially for their price tag. I'm not even crazy about how much a lot of companies charge for their t-shirts these days ($30-ish for a skate t shirt is stupid). Most skateboarders aren't going to spend $500+ on a jacket. Also, not even one real piece of skate related gear was released.

I heavily fuck with what AO's doing with Bianca right now. Obviously it's not for everyone, but same goes for EVERYTHING ELSE in skateboarding.
I just wish I could afford it.
Looking forward to new 917 stuff though, that's gonna be cheaper

Even keeping in mind that BC has transitioned to fashion shit exclusively, $150 for a long sleeve button-down seems like way too much.

I was going to say the same. Its actually cheaper then alot of the high end brands like Saint Laurent, Burberry, or Marc Jacobs. If you guys ever walk into Bloomingdales and see what it cost for a basic looking t-shirt or jeans you guys would shit yourselves.

If that's what he's going for then I'm fine with it (high end fashion). I'll stick with the 917 gear and be happy. I know One Up here in Pittsburgh has carried their decks in the past, hopefully they'll get them again. I wouldn't mind picking up a shirt either.

Nah, I come up with those all myself. Nice job staying in your lane with using the word "trendy". Stay one dimensional. Would you describe my last comment as "pretentious" or "contrived".

Nah, I just think it's funny how just because I voice my opinion on how I don't like some aspect of skateboarding and talk a little harmless shit, heckler had to go get butthurt, and so did you. But I know...because I don't agree with your opinion that makes me "one-dimensional" and "mainstream".
