probably because Euro gaps first appeared in Europe, at least in a major way.

Also known as a London gap cause it first appeared at that London Generations comp in 97 (Actually, that setup was first used in Munster that year but no one did tricks up it).

I always thought it was because of that one gap that was heavily skated in 99-00, the one where you jump off a stage, and then over a gap into a wedge thing.
