He's amazing. Reminded me a little bit of Grayson Fletcher in that he's just bonkers on everything, but he was so much more fun to watch. Go Darkness, go.

That was amazing, but I wonder if his white friends gave Fernando Bramsmark the name 'Darkness'.  I don't know any black person that would willingly have someone call them that unless it was a joke within their own peer group.  Like, does he introduce himself as 'Darkness' to friends & family, or even in business situations?  I know other pro's embrace their nicknames, but really bro. Darkness ???

was thinking the exact same thing.

either way, this part was  :o :o :o the two clips where he back 1's immediately into half cab, then back 1 at the bottom of the pool to fakie stall made me laugh out loud

I'll try to explain why he is called/calls himself darkness. Around 2010 Fernando and a couple of his black friends began calling their crew darkness. Like the black crew within the crew. I think it was a qoute from a song or something that they thought was funny. At the same time a national skatepark competition series started in Sweden. If you were any good and black Fernando was like. "Yup, you are in darkness. Sort of like a joke but sort of serious too. So darkness was a well known crew in Sweden and Fernando was in the center of that. Hence darkness-Fernando. If I remember it correctly, he won that series the first year. I think Oski won the second year.

Last but not least a little Polar spoiler: the  big bank that Fernando fs nosebluntslides, Oski does that backside in the Polar vid.
I'd rather watch Bill Danforth push...

Word, thanks guys.  That's cool to know. Regardless, he's very comfortable on a board and easy to watch.

Also, just watched this for the first time.  What a perfect pairing!

Had the pleasure of watching him skate in person a couple years back and it made me an instant fan. Everything he does just stands out and his style is really sick and fast. This part was awesome.

Wow really unique stuff. His style reminds me of a young Darrel Stanton but in a bowl.

So many amazing moves and approaches to spots. Can someone please make a gif of the no comply disaster he does mid way through the part?
Jorts
Anklets
Rat tails
Sling shots
Toe rings
Shuv it tail grabs
Jump ramps
