Medium Hair
« on: March 16, 2016, 12:33:58 PM »
What do you do to get your hair curved, wavy and so that it flips outwards at the end?

What is your daily routine after you wash your hair? Do you use anything other besides shampoo? Do you air dry it, heat dry it, or you wear a cap or beanie to dry them? Do you comb them, style them or use any kind of products?

put on a beanie and skate towards the wind for 15 minutes each day to get those perfect natural wavy curls

I don't think so, as we know most of the skaters have medium and long hair so I'm more than curious how other skaters threat their hair daily to achieve the familiar "skateboarder's look". Pretty much everyone whose hair length is over ears, have their hair curved, especially on the sides and on the back. This shit's serious and important. I naturally have straight hair and I'm tired of looking like Brian Sumner. Share the wisdom!

You need curly hair shampoo, only use it once a week, make sure to shower everyday just no shampoo,

The rest depends on your hair, my hair is naturally wavy but not curly so i just towel my hair to make it messy and put a toque on and it will dry curly,  also i never brush my hair it will ruin it

I doubt it's a trend nowadays, it was a trend in the early to mid 2000's, definitely not now. Now we have all the faggot looking tapered/undercut that looks like someone went over with lawn mower over your head and left the bush on top of your head that's usually slicked back. Medium hair has always been the skaters choice since the beginning through the years, not a trend.

Put your hair in a toaster to dry out the ends and get it perfectly straight. Low heat obviously! !  Also do it when you're in the bath.

This fool said "skateboarder's look." I just laughed out loud in a quiet room that was too funny. You're stuck with the sumner look. Hot Rollers and a bandana like my grandma back in the day, maybe you'd get some curls. Seriously tho just cut it off or go for the Chris Cole long hair look and let us make fun of you. I think you're mistaking people with long barely wavy hair for fools with straight hair and blow dryer skills. IF you try and blow dry don't forget to blow dry upside down tho that shit is key.

So that's the mystery that has finally been revealed? Fools with straight hair and blow dryer skills? I want to join the club. Now I need to know the proper technique and details for that. Blow dry it untouched or you have to brush/comb it?

Have some bullies hold you by the ankles upside down over a toilet. Have them insert your head into the toilet, and flush. Air dry, and voila'.

it won't work if you have straight hair ask any girl/your girlfriend if she's got straight hair. They all want curls. Be happy you have hair and just say fuck it and get a hair cut Mitch Kramer. For real tho blow dry use a towel and your hands but if you care that much about your long hair you shouldn't have it...just let it grow or cut it don't be metrosexual unless you're shaving your balls cuz that's for the ladies.

Don't shave it all because the itch that comes for the next week or two is unbearable.
I trim, shampoo, and condition. It's hair might as well

This is exactly what I'm trying to get rid off, I'm looking how to achieve the "dehydrated volumized wings" OP mentioned before.

You're wrong, bud. I don't know who maggie is neither I am trolling. This is dead serious. If you go to skaters database everyone who has medium or at least over ear length hair has curved ends. It's a must if you're rocking a hat or a beanie. I just want to ask fellow skateboarders how do they achieve that and treat their hair.

Look, even Tony does something to do that.
