Astonishing Legends is really good

Until I lose Interest with David Taylor

The Crabfeast with Jay Larson and Ryan Sickler

The Full Charge Power Hour With Matt Fulchiron

I had to stop listening to JRE awhile back and Skeptic Tank seems to be headed that way for me.  I can't listen to Your Mom's House without a guest on

I listen to lots of previously mentioned podcast so I'll add the ones not mentioned below.

On The Media. NPR show about media.

Tall Tales. LA DJ bro with female co-host. I have no interest in DJ stuff but for some reason these guys are interesting to me.

Slate Political Gabfest. Smart people talking about current politics events.

Invisibilia. Like radiolab basically.

StartUp. Show chronicling a single startup business for a season.

A Life Well Wasted. Video games. This one isn't updated anymore but old episodes are evergreen. I don't fuck with video games but find this show super good.

MostlySkateboarding. I'm just plugging my own podcast which features skaters telling a single story each episode.

Legion of Skanks
Tuesday's with Stories
YKWD
Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank
Real Ass Podcast
Monday Morning Podcast

Basically NYC/East Coast comedy podcasts, because most LA comedy sucks dick

^ yup, all of these.

also skim through the Nerdist for good guests. dudes had everyone on there. Hardwick isnt exactly the funniest guy, but i like the questions he asks.

also listen to Kill Tony. Tony Hinchliffe (prob didnt spell that right) is funny on his podcast and on other peoples, but i didnt like his netflix special too much. maybe ill watch it again. anyways, his podcast is basically an open mic. about 50 people sign up, then their names are drawn randomly, and they have 60 seconds. tony, and his two guests then talk about what worked, what didnt etc. sometimes they just make fun of her/hm.

Norm Macdonald Live - Does it like TV. It's funny to see him completely derail conversations if he wants. Fuck with his guests. And stuff.

Norm Macdonald Makes Andy Dick Laugh At 9/11

Let's Drown Out... - From Yahtzee Croshaw, the Zero Punctuation video game critic guy. Him and his insufferably smug friend Gabriel do very loose let's plays where they sometimes talk about the game but usually talk about anything else. Takes a longass time to stop hating Gabriel but they make a great match.

You know about the Tim O'Connor one too right?

It's too bad that never became a regular thing, I love some of those episodes.

serial- was awesome, but they don't update it
THe nine club is good, and it seems like they are learning on the fly and improving each episode.

Not an expert by any means. Really put off by the dipshit Bro mentality that ruins so many of the most popular ones. Here's a couple I like anyway.

I'm pretty into movies so I really dig on The Next Picture show (http://thenextpictureshow.tumblr.com/). It's the folks that used to the dissolve podcast back when it was around. They take two movies, one old and one in the cinema at the moment and dedicate an episode to each comparing themes etc etc. Always great. Smart folks saying interesting stuff.

On a similar note, these guys have been going for years and are still great. Filmspotting (http://filmspotting.net/) Like 11 years worth of archives there so plenty to look back on if you have an interest in movies. I listen every week and go back and check out old episodes all the time. Really good stuff.

This might be a little more niche but there is a football ("Soccer") thread on here so thought some of you guys might be into. Maybe I'm biased coming from Ireland but these dudes (http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/second-captains) are the absolute best at what they do. Just smarter, funnier and overall better than other english football podcasts. Their non-soccer show is available there too, Covering all sports (NFL, NBA, MMA, Olympics etc) though they usually have a section on Gaelic Games too which I doubt means much to anyone outside of the country. Football show is absolutely worth checking out for anyone with any interest though.

Shout out to The Bunt too. By far best skate podcast. Chris Roberts has been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember but dude really needs to stop asking people about their fucking instagrams...

Apparently I've already posted in here, so look at page 1 if you want to see my suggestions. I will add the newish podcast that Billy West does. I'm a big fan of his, so if you are too it's worth checking out. On the topic of podcasts though, what ever happened to the Grant Patterson episode of The Bunt? It was the only one I missed, they seem to have taken it off Soundcloud and didn't put it on iTunes.

I listen to Tim Heidecker's Office Hours. You'd probably find it very boring, but I love the guy so much.

LSE sometimes has good lectures from authors, sometimes mind numbingly boring.
This is Hell is interviews with authors, the host does a great job.
New Yorker Politics and More.

I'd like to take the chance to shit on Joe Rogan's podcast and NPR stuff.

I'd really like something like Joe Rogan's podcast without Joe Rogan.  Should I check out WTF?

Been really into Hollywood Handbook lately. I just love the cheeky way those guys speak.

I'm a big fan of Doug Loves Movies, even though I've grown to hate Doug Benson over the years. Least funny comedian, but very good show.

I am a avid podcast consumer. Listen to at least 1 per day. Most of the stuff I am into is human interest, news, science, current events type stuff with a few other odds and ends.

Almost everything Gimlet Media is doing is fantastic:

-Crimetown
-Homecoming
-Undone
-Reply All
-Startup Podcast

Other staples:

-NPR Politics Podcast
-More Perfect
-Freakonomics Radio
-Planet Money
-Serial
-99% Invisible
-Radio Lab
-Criminal
-This American Life

And of course all of the skateboarding staples: Tim O'Connor, Mostly Skateboarding, Bunt, and The Nine Club.

Someone is offended. Think the topics that they discuss are pretty interesting, not agreeing with 100% they are saying, but it's important people talk about certain topics. Is it a podcast that discusses white womens problems? Yes! And some stuff is just hilarious.
