New podcast series on Ruby Ridge.
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/10/standoff-ruby-ridge-podcast-episode-1.html

Bumping this for this. Just started listening to this - listened to the Generation Why episode on Ruby Ridge and it was infuriating to say the least.

These dudes are pretty good at what they do - and one of them used to skate in the 1990's. Basically, imagine Last Podcast without the humor.

Mentioned it twice really early on this thread but for those that didn't see it Small Town Murder and Crime In Sports are both really good. The ratings don't lie.

Joe Rogan or Joe Budden

I don’t trust Joe Rogan. Seems like the type to act woke with a podcast guest then go on a hunting trip with MAGA buddies who say nigger a lot.

I can’t back this up just a vibe.

Sounds pretty accurate. He also repeats himself a lot. But, there's a bunch of his guests who have gave him very good podcasts, so he's good in my book. When someone has a story to tell he let's them speak, when it's a bullshit podcast he takes over and it fuckin' sucks.

That's pretty impressive. I usually need a deer to make my deer meat.

I can only listen to Rogan when I like the guest. He does a great job getting a good variety of people, and the show is always best when he lets them speak. He's great at asking questions, but when he gets ranting or acts like he knows more than he does he can be annoying.

Been enjoying Last Podcast on the Left a lot recently. And I've been going through the back catalog of 99% invisible.

I started a podcast last year with a couple buds... It's gone through a few growing pains, but we're getting the kinks worked out.

Not really a Skateboarding podcast per-se, but we usually touch on some skate topics here and there.

Here is the link to my Soundcloud page if anyone feels like listening to older skaters shoot the shit for a couple hours!

Cheers!

Welcome to Nightvale is incredible. It's a podcast where every conspiracy theory is true. Not really something you can listen to in the background, requires intent listening but it's really interesting.

I just started listening to one called Lizard People where comedians come on to discuss conspiracy theories, typically with a grain of salt. It’s a fun listen if that stuff fascinates you but, like them, don’t take them too seriously. Though if you are into them seriously it might not be for you because some of the guests straight up don’t know what they’re talking about lol.

Tentative Affinities

-musicology podcast by Bob Gilmore. he covered some interesting subjects that he didn’t have enough time to write about before he passed away.
