Lately I have been listening to Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio and Weird Studies.
The Q Clearance podcast is pretty informative and takes a deep look into all that crazy shit. Spoiler alert
Q is a pedo pig farmer in the Philippines named Ron Watson. Probably old news to most at this point but that podcast is where I heard that info first.
Madlib was on a recent episode of The Peoples Party with Talib Kweli and being a big fan I listened to that.

I know this is a hot take but I’m not particularly invested or enthused with the whole chapoverse.

That being said I really want to check out trueanon, that seems pretty cool. Shit, the more I look into the more it seems like the majority of those podcasts mentioned by the intimidator dale senior seem like they’d be solid. I like the idea of trillbilly workers party especially. That shit sounds rad as hell.

No dogs and hardcore history are two of my favorite podcasts of all time though.

Also, I noticed it’s going down mentioned a few times so I figured I mention a few others that are pretty great that are part of the same collective, Channel Zero Anarchist Podcast Network, or closely related to it:

Burning Cop Car: short run but features a lot of great music influenced by or directly related to the radical left.

Marooncast: Black radical podcast hosted by two anarchists who give a solid political analysis through the lens of a sick blend of southern, queer, anti-colonialism.

Coffee with Comrades: A platform for leftists to just bullshit and have fun, not focused or limited to a specific tendency but also avoids the petty sectarian differences. Focused on having fun with your comrades.

Rebel Steps: for those wanting to join the fight but aren’t sure how or where to begin.

Resonance: Basically a distro that provides and distributes Anarchist literature through the medium of what is essentially audiobooks. Incredibly helpful for those that want to becoming informed but don’t have the time to read through the tomes of literature out there.

Trillbillies is great, and I love their accents

I uploaded all the episodes of the new season of Blowback into one folder:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/6d477d642bd220f6f6a1778cca55f7af20210617223620/8cffdc

It essentially covers the Cuban socialist revolution, and the U.S. reaction to it

Not sure if it's been mentioned in here yet but the Bodega Boys podcast (desus & mero) gets heavy rotation from me. It's the perfect approach to fucked up comedy on whatever the hot social issues or pop culture things of the week were.

Pretty enjoyable and unexpected

Speaking of Rogan. I saw a story in my news feed today about Carlos Mencia blaming Joe Rogan for being the first person to implement "cancel culture", while trying to call out cancel culture. I don't really like Joe Rogan that much, and most of people calling out "cancel culture" seems pretty hollow and unable to acknowledge people just being held accountable for shit. That said, it's pretty hilarious that Mencia's out is that he was "cancelled" rather than someone just called him out for stealing jokes.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

The current season of Blowback is about the Cuban revolution. First season on the Iraq war was pretty stellar, too.

Oops, people already posted about it. D'oh.

nice hot take

How is it a hot take? He's literally crying about the shit he's always crying about other people doing. People act like he's wise and knowledgeable when really he just talks out of his ass with complete confidence.

Also, I've never seen you post anything of substance, any coherent thoughts beyond one to two sentence snark. You're the one who only posts hot takes.

The new season of "Tides of History" on early human development is great, for anyone interested in the prehistoric period.

Maybe it's common knowledge to some people but he's still one of the most popular podcasters out there.

The Off Menu podcast. Comedians, chefs, whoever chat about their dream meal. It's a fun format to reflect.on, but recent stand out episodes starred Ainsley Harriot and Bob Mortimer.

Listened to Adam Buxton's Brian Eno episodes the other day too. Turns out I didn't have to throw away all my work when the oblique strategies called for.it...

Steve-o seems to have some pretty good guests on his podcast.

Side note: I understand that podcasts need to make money, but some of them have more ads than cable television.  It's a turn off for me when the conversation is constantly interrupted.

I do appreciate when they are all lumped into one section and it is easily skipped. The mid breaks suck. Too many sucks, makes the podcast look like this in my brain:
