I always enjoy reading these, but I wish you'd skate them longer. With just about every shoe holding up well enough for 10 hours, it kinda doesn't tell much how the shoe is gonna work out in the long run. I for one skate my shoes until they're pretty much trash and would appreciate longer reviews to get a better picture what shoes might work better for me. I can't afford to skate a new pair every few weeks.

yeah doing longer weartests would be interesting cause 10 hours is nothing pretty much.

only gripe is i would say go a half size down if you do not have wide feet. if i would have went true size they would be way too long, but i always have to size down in vans pros so this could be just me....

otherwise really good review of a really great shoe!

Finally I see proper heel padding and I'm psyched on the puffy'ish tongue, which helps the shoe fit snug without excessive lace tightening.

Thanks for the review, looking forward to order locally!

Euro pals, do you have this already available in your Vans shops?

I was really hoping they would throw shade at the fact that Vans went from gel, amazing insoles to some foam crap.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

never skated the old ones with the gel inside, but i like those vans insoles of the walkers more than, let's say, lunarlon insoles! feeling pretty good so far!

i've always enjoyed your reviews Weartested....

that being said, you need to do 2 things:

1)  test the shoe longer

2) stop being so formal with your wording.  every review reads exactly the same.  let it flow bros

Has anyone cut the elastic out of these? Mine are the same size as old school pros which are perfect, but that elastic feels like its pulling down so hard my foot cant circulate blood. I don't wanna cut it out and find that a brand new pair of shoes turns to mushed dog shit without it, its just too fuckin tight on the foot.
