That frontboard kickflip out montage was probably the best portrayal of what skateboarding is about to ever be shown on TV. Battles, slams, meltdowns, makes, celebrations. That's pretty much what it is at that level.

And for those doubting me when I said pros wear leather jackets as a form of protection in the Dollin thread, Sinclair says it explicitly in this episode.
For the record, heath's tow ins in mindfield were in like a linen dress shirt or something. No leather necessary.

Each episode that comes out is cringier than the last one. The "Meet the Trujillo's" felt like I was watching some shitty reality show on basic cable.

I would disagree. Skating on cable was Bam and Rob Dyrdek. This is a show that most of us are looking forward to watching. A few things are obviously corny but overall this is great.

I felt the same way at first but it actually turned out to be a pretty good series. Its a lot better than the all of mainstream TV skateboarding that you see nowadays.

In my mind, stay at home dad Johnny Jones was the MVP of the episode. "Babysit my kids" was a great idea for a challenge that could have gone terrible but he ended up killing it.

i really like the vice version. it's better than watching a 5 minute re cap that just smashes all the makes together.
the "heckling yuppies" was cringe worthy, but it's pretty funny they peer pressured jaws into jumping off the roof for no points or anything.
