skateboarding is not a career, nor should anyone bank on it being one. 

they should be lucky to have gone so long without having real jobs, and they should also be planning for their future.  Instead of buying rims and gold chains, some of those pros would do well to put that money in a college fund for themselves.  The few pros that make 6 figures are an exception to the rule.

redcurb: so basically, your point is that if a person wishes to retire by the age of 35, they need to be making a minimum of $100k per year starting... some time before that? Very interesting. I will mention it to my grandpa, who will celebrate his 35th birthday very soon. We will be serving lobster
