Where do you guys think they should draw the line with the pro model shit? Pro model underwear? They already have pro model sweaters and socks and shit.

Pro model trucks do sound goofy.
[close]

Decks and shoes should be it.  Anything more just seems like a waste.

wheels too
[close]
why are prowheels beter than protrucks?
[close]
it might have something to do with them being around long before pro trucks so in my eyes they are acceptable. for example the spitfire fifty ways logos look sicker than the regular logo and i don't mind supporting people like cardiel and howard cooke when it comes time to buy new wheels. to sum it up: sure the wheel graphic wears out in ten minutes but why not support your favorite pro that skates for your favorite wheel company for the same price?
the same can't be said for pro trucks though because painted trucks cost more
We have the same birthday... rad!

Pros should get trucks; if anything it supplements there income from blank skateboard sales, and most kids buy painted trucks anyways.
One of my favorite lines is the one of spiked meth drnewton does off of lou pearlmans viarga and toddler-blood induced erection that finally puts that bitch 6 feet deep.

Anything more than a pro model deck or pro model shoe seems like a waste to me.  I agree about supporting your favorite pro, but if that pro has a pro model riser pad, would you buy that too?  It has to end somewhere.

White and gold colorway is rad, I'd ride those for sure.  But it says Reynolds right on it?  I wouldn't ride it, sorry.  I don't like names on my stuff.  If I could scrap off the Reynolds and be left with rad white and gold trucks, then I'd be psyched.

SOTY '99(?)...top selling jeans, shoes, owner of one of the most popular companies around...I admit, I'm a fan of Reynolds skating and video parts, so maybe I'm biased, but I really don't see any problem with this. Doesn't he have an Indy tattoo? He was in their book thing.

Koston, TNT, Reynolds.  Those are some pretty huge names.  Mabye Danny Way or something?  That's it! Danny Way pro model color mega ramp trucks!

Oh, Gonz I guess too, but he probably wouldn't care.

He does more than TNT.
[close]

Are you in fucing sane? TNT is one of the most naturally gifted people to ever ride a skateboard. Now I like Reynolds and all but even he would agree that TNT deserves a Indy.
[close]

I wish their where no pro Indy's though, kind of tarnishes the Indy image IMO opinion.

I agree... I wish Indy didn't jump on the signature truck bandwagon but times are changing so Indy needs to change along with it.  It still is weird to see some pro's name on a truck.

The way he edited it.  I hate how he did the focus thing where only his body was clear and the background was blurry.  Shit was annoying as hell.

it's kinda lame throwing a signature truck series out, but as long as the trucks still skate great i don't really give a fuck.

In related pro truck news, I'm sort of bummed about how Venture is being handled post-Williams, marketing-wise. While Venture has always been associated with ledge skating, their choice to give only the jiggiest of skaters pro trucks is a bit ridiculous. They're basically sweating to make themselves Orion. I'm still not into the pro truck pheneomenon, but especially in these times of ultra Indy-bandwagoning, shouldn't people like Guy Mariano, Jason Dill, or even Puleo at least be getting ads, instead of gold-flaked PJ's and Terry pastel-camo sig's?
