The all black Vics he's wearing in the ad were my first 'real' skate shoes. Had some sort of knock off Vans hi tops before that, in addition to some pretty embarrassing department store kicks. Traxx... so bad. Think I had Airwalk Cloud Nines after the Vics.

Koston 2's were either my first or second pair of 'real' skate shoes. I was skating in Chucks before that.

The snakeskin colour way was my first purchased pair - Was over the moon.

About 6 months later they got stolen of my elementary school locker room during a track meet..

My best friend hooked me up with a hand-me-down pair of etnies lo cut II's before the adios. Wish I still had both pairs.

I remember having these brown Adios but don’t remember skating them. I think I also had a pair of Osiris’s roughly around the same time.

The first shoe I really remember skating were Fallen Rippers.

funny thing he's a "city boy" and at the time i'd never been too far from my hometown (which is buttfucknowhere in the south of spain) he gave up on skating after a summer in 99-00. One day he brought me his board-skate shoes just in case i'd like to give it a go. Been a junkie since.

I'm not sure which was my first one but couple first ones were those callicut etnies posted earlier, some adios from the mall and sykum's if anybody remembers them.

Actually got all my early shoes at a shop, Adio was huge at the time but I settled because they didn't have accels in my size. Malls near me didn't carry anything "cool" back in 2000-2001
