Every set of thunders I've had has slipped. Just set up a new pair mid May, and I had axle slip the first time I skated them. I just deal with it, because I like the trucks.

I'd be curious to see what the axles look like in Indy and Thunder

COMPANIES! JUST DO THIS ->

Nice idea. Grind King did something similar with their AXL truck, with an impossible-to-slip axle:

But companies don't bother when it's easier and cheaper to use stock axles than fabricating custom shapes.

The last three sets of Thunders I've had (2 sets of 151's and 1 set of 147's) did not have straight axles at the time of purchase. I don't really care, because they function well and don't bend too much past their original state, but I wonder why they're not straight.
