Has anyone gapped Clipper?

Not totally sure what you mean, maybe ollied the entire double set?  In any case, Diego Buchierri dropped in at the very top, rode across the flat part of the ledge and ollied straight over clipper to flat.

So "Clipper's getting demolished" really meant "Clipper's getting a new rail" they didn't even paint over the grind grime..

They were puttng in an elevator according to the article about the contest, in the pic you can see theres a bunch of stuff at the top of the set that wasn't there before, it looks like it didn't really affect the bottom set of stairs so they probably went there with plywood and dropped in on the first set.

i'm calling a trick right now, if the other side isn't blocked someone will probably do a slide/grind the rail into a trick on the hubba, like someone does a f/s 50-50 on the bar then hops over to a quick nosegrind or something on the hubba, not sure how hard it would be to pull off but it would be kinda sick

So CA tax payers paid to attach a kinked rail to a legendary skate spot. I'm kinda surprised that SF Unified approved this addition. I guess it's a plus for some skateboarders but what a blundered decision on the district.

This comment would have been relevant in 1997 or so. Are you actually surprised a school would try to wreck a skatespot in 2016?

1997 or so, what does that even refer to?

In a city with rent so high that only Mark Zuckerberg's unborn children can afford, you'd think an SF Unified school would improve the ledge. Maybe something completely different, I don't know, SF claims to be a progressive city and it's public schools should reflect such progressiveness.

Aside from the skate history Clipper has; attaching a rail to it was hardly an improvement to school grounds.

I see no reason that someone would be unable to bigspin back tail it even with the rail there.

That was on the list of the tricks I most wanted to see, glad Shane got it before it was altered.
