These two new ams are really good and I'm glad Girl finally found some fresh blood. However, this video very much felt like "Wow, we have two people actually skating. Go point a camera at them!" As good as these kids are, it's hard to overlook that half of the team (except for CK and McCrank) is hardly filming anymore. As someone else said, I feel like they're gonna get left behind more and more.

IDK - the new kids are super good - no questions.
But i can't identify the direction Girl is moving.

Need to say i was never a big Girl fan, but at least it was once
back in the days the super team with he best video output
with the top clean style defining skaters...

they still live from the legacy of the past... they need to build up
something new - and this is not CK, Bible, Mike Mo and  Sean Malto
- this is the lost generation to me - all of them where super talented
fitting girl so well but didnt match the legacy of the OG riders like
Mike, Rick and Eric...
maybe younger lads will disagree - but i can't imagine that Sean or Mike
mean to the kids what Mariano or Rudy Johnson means to my generation.

I gravitated towards east coast gents so never was a cornflakes girl but they were upper echelon for sure. Trouble has always been, nobody they add 'fits' w/ original gurl/chocolate (maybe Scott johnston) so girl fans have always rejected new guys.

mj, ba, kenny, mccrankers, j. roj before he lost it, p-rod, lil stevie, mike mo, etc... seemed to all be well received. imo trunk boys/pretty sweet marks the era where they lost their direction. i do like ck1 and vincent though.

to the people bitching about the new direction... this is what happens when the people grew up watching get older.  that's just how it is.  I've come to terms with the fact that for the most part all of my favorite skaters from when I started are now straddling retirement.  and it's a bummer like yeah, the golden age of girl/chocolate isn't what is was, but who cares? let the new kids have their shine and dust off your vhs box sets, I still got mine.
