Just saw anti hero is releasing a Raney deck that’s 8.1x14x31.3 which is super close to the board I’m riding now. So it’s more a matter of finding it / getting the shop to order it vs mulling over if I should

I want to buy a flatbar to keep at home and skate whenever I don't feel like going to the park. They're all so expensive though and I've heard portable bars are all pretty shitty.

Ok

! This sounds nice! They used to have that size in their runs, juliens board often. Raney really not my guy, but it’d be nice to ride an anti hero. I’ll most likely order the light green eagle (even smaller) when the time comes.
Always feel lame for asking the shop to order something. Can’t (won’t feels disgusting) buy things from not a real shop. Fortunately more, great shops are doing mail order

Trying to decide if I should just get one for the collection or 2 and skate 1.
One of my got to decks in THPS
Go for it! I’d be hyped to have one on my wall and skate one.
The only other hawk board I’d like to have would be the Falcon 3

Sometimes it feels weird ordering from a shop but a lot of time if I’m just kicking it and shooting the shit I’ll throw it in casual convo, like hey in that next dlx order...

That or I just keep an eye on the real shops on insta. Thankfully I have a few boards ready to go so I’m not hurting

Most of that shit is crazy overpriced, if you can get someone to weld, just find or buy a piece of pipe  and metal feet for it. If you can't get a welder, build a triangular prism and secure the pipe to the top of it. You can do little wallies on that too.

Thinking about pulling the trigger regarding some Swift 1.5, I love that Creager-ish feeling.
Anybody tried them? I would appreciate some insights.
Thanks pals.

despite them looking like a muska/ creager hybrid, I have heard people on here say they liked the swift version 1 as opposed to the 1.5. I’ve only skated the version 1, but it’s a great shoe, probably the best I’ve had in years

Now I'm intrigued. May try out a pair when my Nikes give out, which were surprisingly durable for a mid-priced shoe.

Ordered them in the best color imho

forgive me if i somehow missed it, but could someone help me with just how flat the flat as fuck decks really are?

Was thinking about doing the same but kinda wanna wait it out incase they release others because that's not my favorite THPS Era graphic.

Cup soles are definitely more forgiving on the feet. Vulc shoes were killing my feet. I'll see if I can get a pair soon.

Thinking of getting 1 too as a wall hanger, but my room is pretty full up at the moment. Also the 2nd hand ones on sale have been gripped, would prefer one that is still in plastic.

Might have to do it. Simple look and seem like they'd be a great shoe to get back into skating with.

I've been wanting to try some Straye shoes. I tried the Fairfax which were almost a perfect shoe, but super low profile, lower than Emerica wino slip ons or anything else I've skated in the last 10 years. I wonder how the hi tops would be???

Venture trucks. The whole Indy/iron cross thing is tired and I'd like to mix it up. To anyone currently riding Ventures - replace bushings with Bones bushings like other truck brands or keep it stock? Thanks

Also I think this topic has been beat to death already so I apologize and all that

I've been wearing nothing hut straye the past year, slips, high tops and lows. My feet hate me. Great board feel, maybe a bit too much. Going back to ES once they come in the next week.

someone just posted they got theirs in in another thread. Gotta ask. Mine due next week

got my max today..it does have the china feel but for $25 shipped & gripped I won't complain - I've had a strict no china wood going on for years but for a legend like Karl I will overlook.

Contemplate buying shoes. Far too often. Daily. It’s an issue. Rowan’s. AVE’s for $79 with these sales going..

I've been contemplating buying a pair of dunk low sb's for months now but can't find a pair at retail anywhere. I figured the normal colors would or should be available, but no. Nothing. Wasn't that orange label thing supposed to be so you could go into a skateshop and buy a pair of the shoes to actually skate them? Make them not limited? People suck.

yeah tough to get. If you follow your local shop you gotta be quick (like same day, sometimes 1-2 hours) of them posting they received inventory. That’s how the recent infrared and shadow pairs have gone. The black truck it high pairs were on tactics and such for a few hours.
