Everything about this is just so unappealing. I mean WKND is still trying to get rid of their corny Koston collab board that you can find anywhere now either on sale or on clearance. Guy has been absent from the Instagram game ever since he got on Nike. Them disappearing this long i think hurt their following, Sure hope TX and Miles can help build up this brand because they won't have a chance with just Koston and Guy.

It's lacking originality, creativeness, direction, and more. This brand is about as bland as its logo.

I just don't get that after all this build up, they roll out the brand without any product available for sale... Seems like a missed opportunity to get some sales from people who are actually hyped on this or get some of that holiday money.

I don't think its gonna work. If you follow the lineage of the companies that they are coming from, those companies all had insanely talented creative people (I'm talking off the board) running the identity, marketing and overall art direction.

I don't think Ive seen anything creative from either of these two dudes besides their skating..and judging from the concept and the logo I really don't see anything that will get the kids hyped in the way that their previous companies did. It just seems way sterile and forced.

Same. I only made it to the point where Guy or Eric is talking about not assigning someone their "number number" or something. I don't know what kind of tip they're on, but it isn't speaking to me. I'll pay attention for the skating, but the ideology lacks imagination with depth.

I think what they are talking about is similar to when you buy something like a lithograph and it has a number out of whatever many were created. Its pretty fucking dumb, but I'm pretty sure that's what they were talking about when mentioning limited collaborations and such. This brand probably survives due to the fact it has great skaters on it, and they can easily promote their product, but it is very bland. I understand leaving Girl if they really did get ripped off over Fourstar, but they should of just taken an Element or Plan B check.
