Dickies pants sizing
« on: December 22, 2016, 11:47:03 AM »
Hi! I think that last time I bought some Dickies was early 2000s, but I found a really good offer (because in Europe they're 60$ usually) and I'm wondering how they fit

They're true to size?

Thanks pals

Same as youd wear in Levis, aka dickies generally run on the small side. If youre between sizes like I am, size up one.

I recommend buying any pants you like on sale and getting them tailored. (I wear 31x34 so my options have always been limited)

Go a size up in the waist for sure. I recommend their slim fit for more of a regular fit (their regular is pretty baggy).

Also, the mark-up on Dickies outside of North America is fuckin crazy. I live in Taiwan and they go for about the same here ($50-$60). I just buy a shitload of em every time I go back to the states.

i definitely prefer 874 to the 873. waist is pretty true to size, although i haven't tried the skate versions of and dickies so I'm not sure how those will size up compared to the classic ones. navy and chocolate are definitely my go to's. gives you that anti hero look.

They are fairly true to size, but they are supposed to ride high so if you like to wear them low you should go up a size.

This reads like a poetic riddle. Just beautiful.

Got a pair of the slim fit skate ones today and I'm gonna have to exchange them for a 32 -- I figured getting the same size that I get in denim would've worked out, but, I guess not.

Your fuckin up if your not wallmart dickies shopping, $20. Some stores dont have em, and the browns are hard to find.

I dont see how they could be anymore "skateable", pretty damn sturdy already.

Highly recommend dickies carpenters too, very tough pants, can take a hill bomb slam and wont rip. Just cut the loop off if you dont like it, I like it, cause I can use it for tools never.

I go a size up for the 874.
And yeah they're fucking crazy expensive here in Europe, $70 for a pair here in Norway.
