I had to go digging around the garage.  Most of these haven't been skated in quite a while.  1992 is the most recent and I'm loving it. Welcome Enenra is the next newest and it's a good all around setup.  Lib Tech is an amazing pool board.

Top Row:

Welcome Nimbus 3000 8.5
Mini Logo 8.38
54mm NFG 95a

Mini Logo 8.0 deck and trucks
51mm STF V2

8" shop deck by South Central
Royal 8" garbage that need to be tossed
52mm F4 99a Classic

8.3" Ishod Twin Tail
Indy Stage 7 146 with inverted kingpins
55mm Mini Logo 101a

8.38" Santa Cruz
Indy Stage 10 149s that don't fucking turn
53mm STF V5

2nd row
Welcome Enenra 8.5"
Indy Ti 149s
52mm STF 99a v5

8.5" shop deck
Indy 146 stage 6
60mm Bones ATF 80a

8.5" Mini Logo
Thunder 149 Ti
54mm F4 99a Conical

9.25" Polar 1992
Indy 159 hollow forged
54mm F4 101a conical

9.25" Lib Tech Jaime Lynn Rat Tail
Ace 66
58mm OJ Danforth 99a for winter (but usually 56mm SPF)

Very nice.

4 months since my last post in this thread. Quiver has increased by 5 since then. Now I'm up to 19 setups. Too much? Or not enough?

A more in depth look. Most of my boards are bareback. All of the wheels are Spitfire F4 99a. Reds bearings in most of them.

The Indy setups
L - R
My daily driver. 80% of my skating is on this board. 8.3 shop board, bareback wood, 149s, 52 OG

Rail board. 8.3 Krooked, 149s, 55 Lockin
Filmer/cruiser/rough terrain: 8.3 Killing Floor, 149s, 54 OJ Keyframe
Double Ltd 9.125 90s shape, 159s, 56 CF This thing is so fun.
8.75 shop popsicle, 159s, 53 Lockin
10" Heroin Craig Questions, 169s, 60 Classic
9.5 $lave War Pig, 169s 60 Classic

The Thunder setups

Yeah, they’re stock. But honestly, I enjoy them. I run em jiggly loose, that being said I’d never buy a set because I’m super loyal to ace.

Quiver dudes. I wanna set up a second board. But since I’ve only ever skated one setup at a time how do I play to the strengths like what makes a park set up vs a street set up? It all comes down to I got classic ace 44s I love. Skating the classic 44s on an 8.5.  Got a 8.3  deck on ice. Gonna go grab the ace af1 55 today. Does it matter which is park or street? Like what is the difference you guys use for park or street.

When I think park, I mostly think transition. So a park set up, might have wider deck, trucks and bigger wheels. Maybe even longer wheelbase if I'm skating bigger transition.

But if you're skating more street elements, plaza style parks I wouldn't really change much... Maybe harder wheels to take advantage of smoother ground?

Depends.. :P

Street: hucking? ledges? flippity?

Park: Street (all of the above) park or bowl park? Both?

I've always had, on average, a few setups:

If it's a bowl centric park: Wider board/longer wheelbase + ACE/Indy/Theeve + 101a/83b BONEs SPF/STFs (bigger)
If it's a street centric park: Smaller board/Wheelbase + Thunders+ 101a Bones STFs (smaller)

Combo park? 8.3"/144 Indy Ti/53mm 101s (I still feel this is the best middle ground for everything)

8.3/8.5 deck, 54/53mm 101a wheels for park (if I'm hitting bowls and street, no bowls the below with harder wheels) ACE or Indy

8.25/8.3 deck, 52/51 99a wheels for 'street skating' Thunders or Tensors

Slappy builds change weekly...but have been going wider, lower and with smaller wheels..

As I'm downsizing my quiver I'm realizing all the 8.25s I was trying to get to feel right were just me wanting to be back on 8.3/8.5 for the fuller nose and tails.

Far left: Heroin DitchWitch 9.3x31.8 14.1wb
             Ace 55s
             Spitfire F4 Conical 54mm 101a

             Bones Super Reds
             Spitfire F4 radial slims 52mm

Right: Theories Special Delivery Shape 9x31.25 14.25wb

The Heroin board is my slappy setup, the Coda is my all around, Theories in the middle is my cruiser, Theories on the end was an impulse buy and barely gets touched, but will work on flatground with it.  Tis a modest quiver, but a quiver none the less.

I gotta buy more heroin boards. A lot of the graphics kinda turn me off in the catalogs, but then I see them set up and I start questioning every judgement I've ever made.

Yeah I generally lean 'less is more' in terms of graphics which is not Heroin at all, but it grew on me.  I know the fact that a lot of their boards are dipped turns some people off, but this one feels great and has great pop so I'm good with it.  Got my eye on the symmetrical egg that just came out next.

From left-right:
1. 8" Peace of Wood (now defunct local brand), ventures, 53mm spitfire classics. My girlfriend is learning to skate so this is her primary setup now
2. 8.55" Antihero (yinzer shape), indy 149 hollows, 53mm f4s. This is my street board, probably going to size back down to 8.25s after this one.
3. 9.25 Welcome, Ace AF1 66s, spitfire 55mm tablets. My local diy has loads of curbs and transition, so I put this together just for those.
4. 8.25-ish shaped pennswood deck, thunder 148s, 64mm oj 3s. Set this up as a cruiser but it hasn't seen much use, still fun to have around though.

I’m a single set up dude. But recently trying to skate more tranny. Do you guys with multiple setups have issues going from one to the other? Like you gotta get use to each set up for a period of time?

For a tranny set up should I just get a wider board that still has the same WB so it’s kinda like skating the same board?

Right now my only set up is
8.5 with a 14.25wb
Indy’s
Bones v5 55mm

Possible tranny set up
9.0 with a 14.25wb
Ace af1 55 ( already have)
Spitfire radials 54mm ( already have but debating on OJ nomads cause diy spot kinda crusty)

You guys that run multiple boards. You think this is close enough in specs I won’t have an issue going from Main Street deck to this as park/tranny/diy spot deck? Or since they are so close is there even a point in running a different set up? I don’t skate tranny at all but trying to learn and figured I should get a wider board to learn and maybe get some more life from AF1s this way

I don't have any pics of my boards all together but I always snap a few pics of each new freshie I set up. I am running five boards currently which feels like the perfect amount to me, one popsicle board that is my daily driver, built to destroy and four shaped cruisers that I take out for a spin occasionally and try to avoid chipping or damaging because I love them and want to ride these setups forever. At least until the aches and pains in my legs and feet catch up with me and I can't skate anymore.

Transition Cruiser Setup A

Santa Cruz Winkowski Train Deck 10.34" x 30.54", 15" WB
Independent 159 Raw Trucks, stock
Spitfire F4 Lance Classics 56mm 99d

Street Cruiser Setup B

Welcome Seahorse Golem Deck 9.25" x 32.6", 14.5" WB
Independent 159 Raw Trucks, stock
Spitfire Toxic Shrooms Classics 55mm 99d

Street Cruiser Setup C

Anti Hero Brown Bomber Deck 8.86" x 31.75", 14.25" WB
Independent 149 Raw Trucks, stock
Spitfire F4 Radial Slims 54mm 101d

Transition Cruiser Setup D:

Creature Partanen Apparition Deck 8.8" x 32.29", 15" WB
Independent 149 Raw Trucks, stock
Spitfire Bighead Swirl Wheels, 54mm 99d

ATV Setup E, Everyday Popsicle for flatground and mannies:

Primitive Dirty P Pricepoint Deck 8.5" x 31.925", 14.25" WB
Venture High 5.8 Raw Trucks, stock
Spitfire Ishod Classics 53mm 99d

So happy with all these setups I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried

I like your board choices, but seeing an uncustomized grip tape job on the Wink is giving me what I can only assume 90’s kids feel when they see anything but straight black grip on a popsicle
I’m trying to be every mom’s favorite skater’-&&

14.25 wheelbase with Indy is going to turn slower than the 14.25 with Ace, and I generally want my bigger setups to turn slower.

I have a 8.375, 14.25 wheelbase with Indy 149s and my AF1 55s are on an 8.75 w/ 14.75 wheelbase (Anti Hero Blue Meanie).  I don't have an issue switching between them. (I have 4-5 other setups as well from 8" to 9.25" with Thunder, Indy, Ace, Mini Logo).

In your situation I'd probably go for a DLX 8.62 with 14.75 wheelbase as it won't be too magic-carpet with the AF1 55s.  9 seems excessive with those trucks.

Thank you for the response that really helped a ton. My local has a $lave 8.67 that’s close to those dims. I’ll swoop up if there still have it.  I really appreciate it.

As a 90s kid, you are correct about the grip(4 piece is also accepted) and I do have to issue violations for what looks like a welcome & baker sticker on a creature deck along with having both nike and adidas represented.

There's also Real and Dogtown stickers on there too
We'll do a blanket violation this time but you're in the file now.

They all look un skated, your grip is fucked on the winkowski *and the anti hero, the sticker situation needs a serious audit. CONSIDER YOURESELF REGULATED.

Dude, those are amazing pics and listings of setups, regardless of what others might say.

So good to see!

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.
