It’s on Franklin off Vermont in Los Feliz.  It’s one of those weird things people know about but don’t talk about as much.  I found out about it after I lived a few blocks away for 3 years and a friend just mentioned it casually and I was the only one that seemed surprised by it.  And I was given the same line other people had experienced and lo and behold.
