im sure there are a ton of new features i could use to filter people out. back when i was on, the only options were to unfollow or unfriend, and i always just picked unfriend because it meant that id never have to deal with that persons online bullshit again. it was funny though when people who i hadnt seen in person in years and never interacted with online would friend request me the day after i deleted them. it happened on a few occasions and sort of blew my mind that anyone would care that much. a few people called me out in person for unfriending them and i just acted like i didnt know what they were talking about because i didnt have the heart to tell them to their face that i didn't care about what they wanted to share online.
