100% made in USA skateboard ?
« on: March 27, 2017, 01:57:23 AM »
And I don't mean trucks that are "assembled in USA with Foreign and Domestic parts" but like, honestly made in the US.

Deck: Chapman Shaggin' Wagon http://www.chapmanskateboards.com/hardgoods/shaggin-wagon-anna (or something by South Central, but I want to search by wheelbase as well as width and it gets complicated.  Any stores that stock SC boards and have wheelbase info online?)

Trucks: Thunder Hollow Lights http://amzn.to/2nri8po (favorite color. Are these made in the USA ?)
Griptape: Jessup http://amzn.to/2nrBlYb (Made in USA)
Wheels: Bones STF something or other http://www.tactics.com/bones/hart-stf-v1-pro-skateboard-wheels/cheers-83b (Made in USA)

Bearings: ??? I don't know if any bearings are made in the USA. Maybe I'll have to go with Bones or SKF or something, but would love to find something made in the US.

Hardware: I only found these wacky things things that look like Trump's ballsack https://www.aspenfasteners.com/product-p/tr039-1032x78-00100.htm

Still looking for American-made nuts !

Mostly worried about Thunder trucks at the moment (Because I already know everything else is made in the USA or Switzerland...)

If you are worried about thunder, don't get the light version with the forged baseplate as those baseplates are made in China. Get the regular thunders/indys etc.

You'll need to get regular trucks like Firebert said but I  don't think any of them are stamped Made In USA anymore as lots of the smaller parts are outsourced...

I'm still glad the Ermico foundry is making the bulk of the truck though. Hopefully...

I know this thread is really old but this is a setup I had been trying to make for some time and wanted to let anyone know if they were wondering this too. I got a beer City Deck (made in WI) along with their hardware (says made in USA). Then tracker trucks, which I read on here somewhere may actually not be made in USA. They claim they are though. I have oust bearings which at the time they claimed were made in USA. Great bearings btw. Then bones wheels which I believe are. I have spitfires as well that say they're made here, but I like the bones more. I've only gotten to skate this setup once so far but no complaints. I had been worried the deck and trucks would be really heavy but I didn't feel this was a problem. Anyone else have 100% or close to 100% made in USA?

Pretty sure Pennswood decks are 100% made in the US.

Good people too, as far as I can tell.

Willy's Workshop, made in USA.

Always was annoyed with Mini-Logo having the US flag on the shrinkwrap, then made in China sicker on the deck itself. Pass it off cause it's "100% American Maple"
