Finer points of etiquette question,
Local skatepark kid is really loud, proud, and vocal of his switch game, shouts "SWITCH SUCKA!" and other such vocalisms.
Never skates any tranny, almost only does flips switch or nollie.

Now, I know this this kid from a while ago.
He used to push mongo and got clowned hard on it, now he has switched his stance (instead of fixing his pushing leg) and is claiming switch god status.

I'm getting old and curmudgeonly, I would let it slide but he is getting annoying.

So do I call him in front of all his peers, have a little word privately (I tried dropping a hint that I new him from the previous park), or just get over myself and let the kid have his little dirty secret?

I'm unsure on this one.

On the one hand the dude sounds like an asshole who should absolutely be exposed, but! I kind of can relate to this slightly...

I started out pushing regular when I was super young but after a few years it became apparent that I was much more naturally adept at doing tricks from a goofy stance. I was super used to pushing regular and was comfortable with it, but got tired of basically being able to do nollie everything and weak normal shit. I never pushed mongo like the offender above though. I just forced myself to learn to push goofy too. It took forever to feel comfortable with it but now it works for me. Added bonus of now I can push "switch" no problem and never be a mongo man about it.

But really probably call this person out for the fraud that they are. Especially since they sound like an asshole about it. Age is a factor too as mentioned by others though. If young I'd let it slide probably.

If he's annoying put him in place,  or more importaintly pull your self together. And in relation to his dirty secret, to switch stance to save your self from being a mongo pusher might be one of the coolst things I'ev hard for years. Like literally, that's tight as fuck. But well that siad, I guess he can easily be a little jerk.

Final note is, that actually sounds like a kid who has already got plenty of negative attention for his account. Maybe a hug and a kiss would help the most..
